    About :

Afri-tunes week 99,I am so excited to present this titled:Kosoba bire,it is song by Midnight crew.

The first time I heard the lively opening drums and joyful singing of "Kosoba Bire," my heart jumped! I didn't understand the words yet, but the vibrant sound made me want to dance. The worship team sang it song after song one Sunday, and I couldn't get it out of my head all week. When I finally looked up the lyrics in my language, their meaning made me love it even more.

"Kosoba Bire" means “no one like our God The song celebrates God's wonderful works in our lives in an upbeat, party-like way. The more I listened, the more I realized just how much God has done for me personally to sing about!

He made me, knit me together in my mother's womb with His own hands (Psalm 139:13). He designed me with loving care, making no mistakes in my inmost being (Psalm 139:14-15). My Creator could have left me in darkness, but He called me into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). I was once deaf to His voice, chasing empty things, but He opened my ears to hear His loving call (1 Thessalonians 2:12-13).

Not only did God make me and call me to be His treasured child, He provides for me every single day! As the song says, "He gives me what I need, opens His storehouse of blessings." From the air I breathe to the solid ground I walk on, all good things in my life come from His hand (James 1:17). He promises to supply all I need to live fully by His all-sufficient grace (2 Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 4:19). What an overflowing storehouse to draw from daily!

Most of all, God showed His love for me by sending Jesus to save me (Romans 5:8). Though my sin made me His enemy, He brought me near through Christ's blood (Ephesians 2:13). Now I have undeserved peace with God and access to His very throne (Romans 5:1-2)! No more wandering alone - the Good Shepherd found me, carries me close to His heart (Luke 15:4-6). Truly, no mind can fathom the depths of mercy my God has shown me in Jesus (Ephesians 3:18-19).

With all these thoughts swirling in my soul, no wonder "Kosoba Bire" fills me with dancing joy whenever it plays! The fast drumbeats and loud cymbal crashes echo my leaping heart. My Savior has done so much for me - how could I not celebrate? The song spills from my lips as I step and spin in thankful praise. Everyone around me needs to know: that there is no one like our God! Just ask me - He put a song in my heart that simply must be sung!

    thank you so much
