With CORNEALUS being the thumbnail design for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge you bet am going to brag with my Gold Foil CORNEALUS.
The large, floating eyeball monster known as Cornealus has strange magical powers and can see anything for miles in any direction. No one knows from whence it came. From the Lore, there isn't much known about the large floating eyeball except for its powers and ability to see in any direction which is reflected in battles.
When maxed out the stats of CORNEALUS makes it playable in the frontline even if it is not the Close Range battle ruleset. The Heal, Thorns, Return Fire, and Magice Reflect abilities simply make it vpowerfulower with weakness to Affliction.

With BORTUS as my summoner with -1 Magic on the enemy monster. TARSA was the opposing summoner with +1 Health and Melee.
Being an Earthquake battle I threw, TORRENT FIEND in the frontline to take a hit for the team, it turned out a hit that had Grum's Bloodlust triggered, that is not the intended plan earlier on in the game to be feeding Grum.
Up next in second place was GARGOYA LION with Armor, Flight, and Void ability, the plane is to have it hold onto the frontline while all possible Range attacks fly over it onto CORNEALUS.
Being a Target Practice ruleset CORNEALUS in third place is to take all the Range and Magic attacks because of the Heal ability with enough power to survive Earthquake.
With Flight and Sneak ability PELACOR BANDIT takes up the place in the lineup. A common card but very useful in battles if you enjoy wreaking havoc on the enemy backline.
The Triage ability of ANGELIC MANDARIN to heal the friendly backline that has taken the most damage makes it suitable for this battle. Twice during the battle CORNEALUS received healing from MANDARIN
It can attack from range as well as the frontline with the Close Range ability coupled with Flight and Deathblow GARGOYA DEVIL in the backline with no threat against it attacked from range.
