There is no verse in the Bible that suggests there would be animals in heaven. The four living creatures in Rev. 4:6-8 have faces like a man, a lion, an eagle and a calf.
We cannot add pets like dogs and cats to what is written. Remember we are warned not to add or remove from what is written in Rev. 22:18-19.
John did not see dogs and cats in his vision of heaven. He saw there was no temple because God and the Lamb are the temple. He also saw people dwelling with God.
It is not biblical to add things apart from the ones John saw.
