    About :

Howdy everyone! We're here once again with another week of Guess the WIP Contest. For this week, I am trying to finish one of two commissioned works.

Before I get on with the WIP, I am sharing this video on how to make a front post double crochet. Generally, the idea of the front post is instead of making the stitch on top of the previous row's stitch, you will be using the "post" instead. So it's up to you if you want to insert the hook through the front (that would be called front post double crochet) of through the back (that would then be called back post double crochet.)

There are a couple of designs you can form using fpdc. One is the design I'm making. You can also try a pop corn design using fpdc. (I'm not sure if it's really called that but it looks like a pop corn to me so I call it that way.)

    The Design

I found this design in one of the crochet groups I joined in. I saw a collection of crochet stitches and this one caught my eyes. It's simple, but at the same time, something new to me. I haven't used fpdc in any of my projects so now's the time. There's one thing I am at on these WIPs. That is to use at least one new stitch or learn one new crochet skill on each new projects.

The client actually did not have any design in mind when she requested for this crochet item. To me, this is the most challenging type of client. When the client gives you an instruction saying "You go ahead and decide which design, I trust your judgement. I take it as a challenge. It's as if they are telling you to "Hit me with your best shot." But of course, in a positive way.

    Clues

This is really a very simple project, there's nothing much to say about it. But I need to drop three clues. So here goes.

    1. This commissioned work is intended for my client's kiddos.
    2. But this is not necessarily exclusive for children. Adults may also use this.
    3. It's a small item, about 8 inches long.

    Prizes

I am hoping that this would be a really fun and interactive game.

    1. The winner/s will receive a 100% upvote from me for 7 days. My vote power isn't that much but I figured my contest/s should encourage everyone to remain active in the platform. This may be very little, but I hope this can get us more activity.
    2. Everyone who will join the contest - including the winner/s - will share the HBD rewards of this post.

I hope to see more interactions and activities in the coming days! Hopefully, we gain more needleworkers who will also share their WIPs and finished projects.

As always, an upvote and a reblog is not required but will be very much appreciated. Happy Hiving!
