Today, for my performance, I decided to give a twist to what I have been doing. After presenting several songs of yesteryear consecutively, I immersed myself in the search for a song that would connect us with the present. And that's how I found "Tampoco Poco", a fascinating song by Juan Pablo Vega in collaboration with Irepelusa, recently released on May 11, 2023. A few years ago, when I was a teenager, I listened to Juan's creations with fervor. Irepelusa, on the other hand, I started listening to recently and she has become one of my most recurring artists. Imagine the pleasant surprise I had when I discovered that someone I always listen to did a song with one of the artists that marked my adolescence, this collaboration was a real gift for my ears and my soul. True to the current trends in alternative music, I love this song because it fuses elements of soul, R&B and even bolero, resulting in something very beautiful and with a lot of personality. While the lyrics may seem simple in its subject matter, telling the story of two acquaintances who meet again to relive their love story, it is the way Irepelusa prints its essence that really makes the difference. Her verse is a real treasure, authentic and far from typical, providing a distinctive touch and making it the cherry on top of the cake. It is crucial to mention that, for my version, I was inspired by the live session of this song and not by the original studio version. The harmonies created in the chorus are so exquisite and emotional that I couldn't resist the temptation to perform it.

En cambio, a Irepelusa empecé a escucharla hace poco y se ha convertido en uno de mis artistas más recurrentes. Imaginen la grata sorpresa que tuve al descubrir que alguien a quien siempre escucho hizo una canción con uno de los artistas que marcaron mi adolescencia, esta colaboración fue un verdadero regalo para mis oídos y mi alma. Fiel a las tendencias actuales de la música alternativa, esta canción me encanta porque fusiona elementos del soul, R&B e incluso bolero, dando como resultado algo muy bonito y con mucha personalidad. Si bien la letra puede parecer sencilla en su temática, narrando la historia de dos conocidos que se reencuentran para revivir su historia de amor, es la forma en que Irepelusa imprime su esencia lo que realmente marca la diferencia. Su estrofa es un verdadero tesoro, auténtica y alejada de lo típico, brindando un toque distintivo y convirtiéndola en la cereza sobre el pastel. Es crucial mencionar que, para mi versión, me dejé inspirar por la sesión en vivo de esta canción y no por la versión de estudio original. Las armonías que se crean en los coros son tan exquisitas y emotivas que no pude resistirme a la tentación de interpretarla.
