Mi hermano Carmelo - Despedida (Eng/Esp Subtitled)

Hola amigos de esta bonita comunidad de EspaVlog en HIVE – 3SPEAK.

     Hace un par de meses, mi hermano partió a España, junto a toda su familia. Algunos de los hermanos, decidimos ir a su casa para realizarle una humilde despedida. Obviamente, grave parte del encuentro, que quiero mostrárselo en este corto video casi 100% musical.

A couple of months ago, my brother and his family left for Spain. Some of us brothers decided to go to his house to pay him a humble farewell. Obviously, it was a serious part of the meeting, which I want to show you in this short video almost 100% musical.

     Es mi hermano menor y de los 8 que somos en total, con él nos criamos juntos, hasta terminar el colegio secundario. Pero luego de formar familia y por esas cosas inexplicable de la vida, nos distanciamos y solamente hablábamos por el grupo de hermanos de WhatsApp. Solo una vez fui a su casa.

He is my younger brother and of the 8 that we are in total, with him we grew up together, until we finished high school. But after we started a family and for those inexplicable things in life, we drifted apart and we only talked through the WhatsApp sibling group. I only went to his house once.

     A mi sobrino Bryan, lo vi cuando nació y luego en algún evento familiar, como cumpleaños muy esporádicos. Es decir, que luego de muchos años, logré estar un rato con él. Ya tiene 12 años y es todo un hombre. De igual manera, me di el gusto de jugar un rato con él al futbol.

I saw my nephew Bryan when he was born and then at some family event, like very sporadic birthdays. That is, after many years, I managed to spend some time with him. He is now 12 years old and is all grown up. I also had the pleasure of playing soccer with him for a while.

     Como es costumbre en todas las familias o casi todas, la comida es un motivo de encuentro. Mi hermano Oriel, llevo la carne para realizar un asado, que por cierto estaba delicioso. Fuego, charlas, música y anécdotas, acompañaron el encuentro. ¡Un momento épico!

As is customary in every family, or almost every family, food is a reason to get together. My brother Oriel brought the meat for a barbecue, which by the way was delicious. Fire, chats, music and anecdotes accompanied the meeting, an epic moment!

     Mi hermano Carmelo, deja todo, pero no abandona. Él ya tiene su casa propia, su trabajo efectivo y con años de aporte en la Argentina, pero de igual manera decidió partir. La primera en viajar para ver como es la onda por aquellos lugares, fue su esposa Marlene, porque ella ya tiene parientes trabajando por allí. Una vez confirmado el trabajo para mi hermano allí, decidieron partir. Es decir, él va ya con trabajo y de su profesión, que es la electrónica.

My brother Carmelo, he leaves everything, but he does not abandon. He already has his own house, his own job and with years of contribution in Argentina, but he decided to leave anyway. His wife Marlene was the first one to travel to see what it is like in those places, because she already has relatives working there. Once they confirmed the job for my brother there, they decided to leave. That is to say, he already has a job and in his profession, which is electronics.

• Con él nunca tuve un problema de fondo, pero igualmente nos alejamos, y es por eso que si tienes alguna diferencia con un ser querido, ve ahora, y resuélvelo. ¡Puede ser tarde!
• Admiración total por mi hermano, porque a pesar de que tenía un pasar razonable en Argentina, él sale de su zona de confort, va por sus sueños y los de su familia. ¡Yo no sé si lo haría!
• Deseo de todo corazón que le vaya muy bien, tanto a él, a su esposa, como a mi sobrino Bryan.

     Al estar lejos, es como que todos cambiamos e inclusive él, al ser una persona muy introvertida y poco participativa en el grupo de hermanos, ahora lo vemos mejor. Él está precisamente en Ibiza, España y por las fotos que recibimos, el sol aplaca todos los días.

Final thoughts.
With him I never had a fundamental problem, but we still drifted apart, and that is why if you have a difference with a loved one, go now, and resolve it. It may be too late!
Total admiration for my brother, because even though he had a reasonable life in Argentina, he goes out of his comfort zone, he goes for his dreams and those of his family. I don't know if I would do it!
I wish with all my heart that he, his wife and my nephew Bryan do very well.
Being far away, it is like we all change and even he, being a very introverted person and not very participative in the group of brothers, now we see him better. He is precisely in Ibiza, Spain and from the pictures we received, the sun is beating down every day.
