Hola, amigos de #GeekZone. El día de hoy les comparto el primer gameplay de Out of Line. Este es juego de puzzles y plataforma, en el cual tomamos el papel de un niño (hasta ahora sin nombre) para ayudarlo a escapar de una fábrica siniestra y restaurar un árbol antiguo. Mi primera impresión de él es que tiene una jugabilidad bastante sencilla, solamente caminamos, saltamos y hacemos uso de una lanza para acceder a lugares lejanos o para accionar mecanismos. Sin embargo, cuenta con puzzles interesantes que le añaden nuevas mecánicas y lo hacen un poco más interesante.

Durante esta primera media hora de juego, escapamos de una parte de la fábrica y recolectamos dos cubos de energía para restaurar el árbol. Comenzó con el clásico tutorial para aprender a utilizar los controles, los cuales, como ya mencioné, son sumamente sencillos. En el camino descubrimos que hay varios chicos idénticos al protagonista, lo que me hace pensar que o son una raza que se viste similar o que el sitio en el que estamos es una especie de fábrica de clones, supongo que eso lo averiguaremos más adelante.

Uno de esos chicos se convierte en nuestro acompañante durante una parte del recorrido, sin embargo, en un punto nos separamos, lo que desencadena una buena (y estresante) secuencia de persecución en la que debíamos escapar de una garra mecánica infernal. Después de varios intentos (que fueron editados, jajaja), finalmente logramos escapar de esta sección de la fábrica y regresamos los dos cubos de energía al árbol, que encontramos al principio y que supongo que debemos restaurar por completo para culminar satisfactoriamente el juego.

El aspecto a destacar de este juego sin duda es su diseño, tiene un arte precioso que disfruté muchísimo mientas jugaba. Otro detalle que me gusto fue que es realmente intuitivo y los puzzles no son tan descabellados como para que pasemos mil horas descifrándolos, lo que sí es que son algo repetitivos, ya que la mecánica es básicamente la misma para todos, espero que al avanzar en el juego implementen cosas diferentes para que los puzzles no pierdan su originalidad.

Definitivamente, se los recomiendo, quizás es un poco sencillo con respecto a su jugabilidad, pero eso lo compensa con un arte hermoso que da ganas de jugarlo por horas, solamente para disfrutar de él.

Discovering a New World | "Out of Line" - Gameplay

Hello, #GeekZone friends. Today I share with you the first gameplay of Out of Line. This is a puzzle platformer game, in which we take the role of a boy (so far unnamed) to help him escape from a sinister factory and restore an ancient tree. My first impression of it is that it has a fairly simple gameplay, we just walk, jump and make use of a spear to access distant places or to trigger mechanisms. However, it has interesting puzzles that add new mechanics and make it a bit more interesting.

During this first half hour of gameplay, we escaped from a part of the factory and collected two energy cubes to restore the tree. It started with the classic tutorial to learn how to use the controls, which, as I mentioned, are extremely simple. Along the way we discover that there are several boys identical to the protagonist, which makes me think that they're either a race that dresses similar or that the place we're in is some sort of clone factory, I guess we'll find that out later.

One of those guys becomes our companion for part of the walkthrough, however, at one point we get separated, which triggers a good (and stressful) chase sequence in which we had to escape from a hellish mechanical claw. After several attempts (which were edited out, haha), we finally managed to escape this section of the factory and returned the two energy cubes to the tree, which we found at the beginning and which I guess we must restore completely to successfully complete the game.

The highlight of this game is undoubtedly its design, it has a beautiful art that I really enjoyed while playing. Another detail that I liked was that it is really intuitive and the puzzles are not so crazy that we spend a thousand hours deciphering them, but they are somewhat repetitive, since the mechanics are basically the same for everyone, I hope that as we advance in the game they implement different things so that the puzzles do not lose their originality.

I definitely recommend it, maybe it's a bit simple in terms of gameplay, but it makes up for it with a beautiful art that makes you want to play it for hours, just to enjoy it.
