    About :

    Rodnell.

    ENG:

Today I present to you this joropo rhythm or beat titled Quirpa.
The Quirpa was born in the mid-nineteenth century when the revolutions of the country ceased a little, as the Federal War, the Revolution of Azul or the War of 92, where traders took advantage of the time, to move through the difficult roads that came or went, from the eastern or central plains to sell their goods and market livestock.

One of these merchants was José Antonio Oquendo, who was nicknamed "QUIRPA", a "llanero de a caballo", a good cattle rancher with a rope in hand and on foot, a strong singer of the savannah, a good "coplero", a good "contrapunteador", his voice was recognized in each of the most remote towns and corners of the vastness of the plains. His place of origin is not known with certainty, some say that he was from Apurito, Palmarito or Guasdualito, what is certain is that he was a son of the immense land of the plains.
That is the origin of this genre.
Here is my interpretation with improvisations.
    With love...
    Rodnell.
