Entrenamiento MTB en Montaña, sin Montañas | Ciclismo [Esp/Eng] 🚴🚴🚴

Hola amigos de esta bonita comunidad de Full Deportes en HIVE – 3SPEAK.

     La creatividad es un factor extremadamente importante, en nuestro camino al “éxitodeportivo”. En Ezeiza, lugar donde resido actualmente, no tenemos montañas. Para trabajar otros aspectos del ciclismo MTB, necesitamos realizar cuestas, bajadas y más aún, trabajar la técnica de manejo. Improvisamos, al ir al costado de la autopista, para ejecutar la tarea encomendada. Somos consciente, que no es lo mismo, pero, a no quejarse y darle duro igual.

Creativity is an extremely important factor in our path to "sports success". In Ezeiza, where I currently live, we do not have mountains. To work on other aspects of MTB cycling, we need to do hills, downhills and even more, to work on riding technique. We improvise, going to the side of the highway, to perform the task at hand. We are aware that it is not the same, but, not to complain and give it hard anyway.

     A mis 48 abriles, debo tener mucho cuidado, en no caerme. Las recuperaciones en estas instancias, suelen tardar mucho y como, lo que hago, es por pura pasión, vida saludable y diversión, no debo arriesgar en demasía. Pero créanme que se disfruta, cuando aparece la adrenalina, más todavía en bajadas.

At 48 years old, I have to be very careful not to fall. The recoveries in these instances, usually take a long time and as what I do is for pure passion, healthy living and fun, I should not risk too much. But believe me, I enjoy it when the adrenaline kicks in, even more so on downhills.

     Nora es una ciclista contemporánea mía y sinceramente, tiene muchas condiciones. Le invité a dar una vuelta a tope (a más 90% de nuestra capacidad), y sin dudarlo me dijo, claro que sí. ¡Allá fuimos!

Nora is a contemporary cyclist of mine and honestly, she has a lot of conditions. I invited her to go for a full ride (at over 90% of our capacity), and without hesitation she said yes, of course. So there we went!

     Creo que lo más importante, es disfrutar del proceso y no padecer los entrenamientos. Es por eso, que siempre invitamos a amigos para ir juntos y también por un tema de seguridad. En Argentina, también existen amigos de lo ajeno y sinceramente, nuestras bicicletas no son de alta gama, pero nos costaron sudor y lágrimas conseguirlas.

I think the most important thing is to enjoy the process and not to suffer the training. That's why we always invite friends to ride together and also for safety reasons. In Argentina, there are also friends of strangers and honestly, our bikes are not high-end, but they cost us sweat and tears to get them.
