"Ijobà Orun" is a phrase from the Yoruba dialect in Nigeria which means "The Kingdom of Heaven". We are still in the celebration of Easter and to grace the Easter celebration I bring to us this song cover ijobà Orun by Lara George.
The kingdom of heaven is meant for everyone who obeys the principles of God and walks according to the spirit's will and not of the flesh, as long as you walk according to the spirit there is not a condemnation to you by God Himself. Walking according to the laws of the spirit means abiding by the instructions of God our maker and the supreme of all being. In the beginning man fell short of the glory of God by disobeying the simple law in the garden of Eden not to eat from the tree of dead but the serpent decieved man and hence man fell. God doesn't want man to perish because He prepared the kingdom of Heaven for Him but how can man access the Kingdom of Heaven while with such disobedience?
To redeem us from death, God sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ that whomsoever believes in Him shall not perish in sin and iniquity but have everlasting light and life in abundance. This is the sole reason for the season of Easter, Jesus came, He died, and resurrected from the dead that we may have access or another new connection to the father since man have broken the connection in the beginning.
"Ijobà Orun" is for anyone who believes in the resurrection of Christ and keep to His commandments. I don't understand Yoruba dialect thou I love the language and wish I could speak it. I bring us both the English translation and the Yoruba version of the lyrics and I hope this entry makes sense to you all.
Thank You.
