Hola mi familia y comunidad de Hive Open Mic. Son bienvenidos a la semana ciento veintitrés de Hive Open Mic. El tema de esta semana es "Un mundo mejor para todos" elegido por mi buen amigo @daniky

When I saw the theme "A Better World for All," the first song that came to my mind was "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson. I know that many people also felt the same, however it also reminded me about something.

I remember the year 2020 when Covid-19 struck the world, and the whole world felt the effect of this deadly pandemic. Covid-19 "paralysed" the whole world; all social activities were on standstill, the economy was in crisis, hunger was knocking at the door of the majority of people in the world, hospitals were filled with the sick, yet to be sick and the diseased, families had to be separated from each other, and many people lost their loved ones.

I can go on to recount the damages Covid-19 did to our world, however, I know it won't do us any good as many of us are still battling with the Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) caused by this Pandemic.

During this period one of the songs that was played frequently in many television stations, online media outlets and in people's home was this wonderful song HEAL THE WORLD.

Yes, the world needed (and still needs) healing. It was as though Jackson released this song to accompany us in that dark time.

We thank God that the severity and fatality of the pandemic has been reduced. We thank God for healing our world through the instrumentality of our wonderful doctors and great scientist. We continue to pray and act in order to make the world become "A Better World for All."

Cuando vi el tema "Un mundo mejor para todos", la primera canción que me vino a la mente fue "Heal the World" de Michael Jackson. Sé que mucha gente también sintió lo mismo, pero también me recordó algo.

Recuerdo el año 2020, cuando el Covid-19 golpeó al mundo, y el mundo entero sintió el efecto de esta pandemia mortal. El Covid-19 "paralizó" al mundo entero; todas las actividades sociales se paralizaron, la economía estaba en crisis, el hambre llamaba a la puerta de la mayoría de las personas del mundo, los hospitales se llenaron de enfermos, aún por enfermar y de enfermos, las familias tuvieron que separarse unas de otras y muchas personas perdieron a sus seres queridos.

Puedo seguir relatando los daños que Covid-19 causó a nuestro mundo, sin embargo, sé que no nos servirá de nada ya que muchos de nosotros todavía estamos luchando con el trastorno de estrés postraumático (TEPT) causado por esta pandemia.

Durante este periodo, una de las canciones que sonaba con frecuencia en muchas cadenas de televisión, medios de comunicación online y en los hogares de la gente era esta maravillosa canción HEAL THE WORLD.

Sí, el mundo necesitaba (y sigue necesitando) curación. Fue como si Jackson lanzara esta canción para acompañarnos en esa época oscura.

Damos gracias a Dios por haber reducido la gravedad y la mortalidad de la pandemia. Damos gracias a Dios por curar nuestro mundo a través de la instrumentación de nuestros maravillosos médicos y grandes científicos. Seguimos rezando y actuando para que el mundo sea "Un mundo mejor para todos".
