Si piensas que el ajedrez hasta José Raúl Capablanca era difícil aun no haz visto nada, esta es la quinta parte de los campeones del mundo y aquí entra el sucesor del cubano hablo nada más y nada menos que del gran Alexander Alekhine, incluso el campeón actual Magnus Carlsen dice que que a partir de Alekhine el ajedrez cambió para siempre.

Alekhine nace en el seno de una familia adinerada esto de entrada ya te hace pensar que tendrás todos los gustos que quieras su padre era Terrateniente de Rusia y su madre era hija de unos empresarios dedicados a la industria textil que para inicios de los años 1900 esta industria estaba en su máximo auge.

Cómo llega al ajedrez?

Alekhine había aprendido a jugar ajedrez porque en Rusia eso es como el mandamiento 11, pero un día en una visita a una universidad junto a su biógrafo lo invitan a jugar una partida siendo esta la primera registrada en todo su historia y la manera que se desenvolvió fue tan maravillosa que decidió dedicarse a ello y creció tanto en este deporte que llegó a ser campeón del mundo.

En esta imagen pueden ver parte de la primera partida registrada jugada por Alekhine y aquí nace la táctica y profundidad juntas antes de él la táctica era una cosa y la profundidad era otra es por eso que hoy día las partidas muy viejas nos parecen predecibles, pero el Ruso cambió eso, jugando con blancas aprovecha que el Caballo negro esta clavado por la Dama en f7 y su alfil de casillas negras no se puede capturar la táctica es incitar al rival a capturar ese Alfin con el peón de g7 pero Alekhine vio más allá y aquí es donde entra el término profundidad debido a que si las negras capturan ese alfil como consecuencia caería la Dama negra ya que el salto del caballo blanco desde d5 a f6 sería dando jaque y atacando a la Dama negra lo que significa que no importa a donde vaya el Rey negro tras el jaque de igual modo se perderá la Dama negra en la siguiente jugada.

Lo Malo de este Genio.

Siempre digo y sostengo que los genios siempre tienen algún problema no en el campo en lo que son genios pero en su vida personal siempre tienen algún problema, vicio, bipolaridad, etc.

El problema con Alekhine es que era alcohólico aun cuando obtuvo su título del mundo continuo ahogado en el alcohol desapareció un tiempo de la vista pública buscando rehabilitarse pero no lo logró, finalmente su muerte es un misterio. Muere en Lisboa Portugal y hasta el día de hoy siguen tratando de dar con certeza la razón de su muerte ya que unos dicen que fue por Cirrosis Epática otros de una extraña enfermedad lo cierto del caso es que su causa aun no se sabe, se convirtió en el único campeón del mundo en morir en posesión de título que luego le sería otorgado al holandés Max Euwe.

In this image you can see part of the first recorded game played by Alekhine and here is where tactics and depth were born together before him, tactics was one thing and depth was another, that's why nowadays very old games seem predictable, but the Russian changed that, playing with white he takes advantage of the fact that the black knight is pinned by the queen on f7 and his black squared bishop cannot be captured, the tactic is to incite the opponent to capture that bishop with the pawn on g7 but Alekhine saw further and this is where the term depth comes in because if Black captures that bishop on g7, the opponent will be able to capture it. Black captures that bishop as a consequence the black queen would fall as the white knight's jump from d5 to f6 would be giving check and attacking the black queen which means that no matter where the black king goes after check it will still lose the black queen on the next move.

The Bad thing about this Genius.

I always say and maintain that geniuses always have some problem not in the field in which they are geniuses but in their personal life they always have some problem, vice, bipolarity, etc.

The problem with Alekhine is that he was an alcoholic even when he got his world title he continued drowning in alcohol, he disappeared for a while from public view trying to rehabilitate himself but he did not succeed, finally his death is a mystery. He died in Lisbon, Portugal and to this day they are still trying to find out for sure the reason of his death, some say it was due to Epathic Cirrhosis, others say it was due to a strange disease, the truth of the matter is that the cause is still unknown, he became the only world champion to die in possession of the title that would later be awarded to the Dutchman Max Euwe.
