Esta playa está ubicada, en el municipio Bolívar, en la carrera nacional, troncal #09 de la comunidad de La Chica, específicamente en el sector Maigualida, su nombre se debe al sector, aunque cuentan los aledaños que el nombre de este sector, se debió que antes el hotel Maigualida, era un sitio familiar donde se iba a pasar el momento y se disfrutaba tomando unas frías, bailando, el dueño le coloco al local Maigualida en honor a su señora esposa, la gente para referirse al lugar decían, vamos para Maigualida, así se fue quedando la ubicación del sector, que actualmente se le llama, sector Maigualida.

Hace tres semanas, acudí con mis hijos a ese lindo lugar, ya que mi hijo @cjmorillo, iba a jugar voleibol allí con su grupo de amigos, aprovechamos la oportunidad y lo acompañamos, ya que también acostumbro a visitar a mi abuela a los domingos, llegamos aproximadamente a las 4:30 de la tarde al lugar, como comprenderán llegamos acalorados, nos metimos en unos árboles a esperar que César jugará un buen rato, el juego estuvo entretenido por cierto.

Esta playa es de poco oleaje, es baja empezando, a una distancia considerable, es honda, hay que tener mucha precaución, el agua gran parte del año es clara, pero ese día estaba turbia, es perfecta para toda la familia, como siempre la vista de todas las playas del municipio Bolívar es hermosa, desde la orilla se observa la otra costa del municipio Cruz Salmerón Acosta, los amaneceres y atardeceres son hermosos desde este lugar.
