Un ejemplo de esto es el muy conocido tema musical Greensleeves, una canción folclórica inglesa que ha perdurado en el tiempo pero que llega a nosotros con una leyenda curiosa. Según esta leyenda la canción fue compuesta por el rey Enrique VIII de Inglaterra para su amada Ana Bolena.
