Hi everyone. Welcome to HiveOpenmic week 179 with the theme "Urban Music". I still remain @mhizerbee and for this week's entry I will be presenting the cover of the song "He kept me" by "Kurt Carr" I hope you enjoy my presentation.

Looking back at some years ago, I can vividly say that God's love is unconditional towards me right from when I was born and brought to this world.

God has been so good and kind to me and to my family as well. He has kept us all these years despite the atrocities, problems, crises and troubles of this world.

I sometimes feel like I am not deserving of his love and as a human being, I fall astray but still, he showers me with his love and mercies.

This song talks about the graciousness, faithfulness and goodness of God that even when it felt like all hope was lost and even when the problems of this world weigh us down and the devil was hovering around to destroy but God held us close.

There are battles God fights for us in secrets that we know nothing about. Maybe by now, we would have been dead and gone but here we are all by the mercies of God.
