Afritunes week #66: "Dependable God" by Tim Godfrey, Cover by @ mhizerbee

Greetings my fellow Africans. I trust you all are doing well? Welcome to Afritunes week 66 and for this week, I will be doing a cover of one of the suggested songs in the community titled "Dependable God" by Tim Godfrey. I hope you enjoy my presentation and have fun.

To depend means to rely on something. It also means to Trust with confidence and there is no other person in this world that I can depend on apart from God. When I saw this song as one of the suggested songs, I smiled and immediately decided give it a try. It may not make meaning to you or sound pleasant to your ears because of how funny my voice is but trust me every single line of this song is for me and I sang it with everything that I've got and everything in me.

I know you may be wondering why it is so and I will just brief you a little and maybe perhaps you may or can understand.

For some years now, I have been trying to get my statement of result in the school I did my NCE program and all my efforts proves abortive. It is frustrating, painful, heartbreaking and it saddens my heart. I have not really been happy about it but I have left everything into God's hands and I told him to do whatever he pleases with me while I keep depending on him.

I have depended on God and I am still doing so and will continually do so. By now, I know how far I would have gone but this school keeps frustrating the hell out of me and if not that I acquired a baking skill which has been keeping me going alongside blogging I really don't know what would have become of me.

Listening to that song has given me hope, assurance and make me keep trusting God. I am inspired by the wordings of the song which says God is still good in all circumstances and situations and that it does not matter what comes my way that God is still God.
