Afritunes week 77|| "Great are you Lord" by Sinach Cover by @mhizerbee

Hello there. Greetings to you all in the Afritunes community. Welcome to week 77. I am @mhizerbee and for this week, I will be presenting a cover of the song "Great are you Lord" by Sinach.

I have my reasons (inspiration) for choosing this song. I am so much happy, glad, elated and grateful to God for everything he has done for me.

Some weeks ago, I made mention of sharing with you what God has done and today I will be doing so. So, I had admission into college for my NCE program and by God's special grace, I finished though the journey was not easy but still God made it possible.

Normally, after your program, in a year or two you're supposed to get either statement of result or your certificate but over here in college, it takes years before you can get it and all my efforts to get it proved abortive.

I was literally frustrated, 🥴 I was sad, so sad and very unhappy about it 😭😞 because I actually wanted to use either my statement or certificate for something important and each day, the opportunities I had passed me by.

I spent money, I wrote several letters and I did many things just for me to get it but nothing was working. As human, I was tired and I became fade up about the whole thing but my family and friends kept encouraging me and finally, I was able to get it.

My Joy knew no bound and you know the funny thing? After getting it, I forgot how hard it was for me and everything I went through. All that mattered to me was the fact that I could get it.

Looking back to while I was there, I have evey reason to be grateful to God for everything. I lost my course mates along the line. Some couldn't meet up, some stopped halfway but I was able to pull through.

I am not from a wealthy family. My parents struggle to fend for us right from birth and God has provided every single thing we need for survival and for a living in ways that I cannot fathom and I can say that we're not living badly.

There are numerous things I'd actually love to say but inasmuch as I would want to, I wouldn't want to bore you with my stories. For everything God has done for me and my family and for everything he will continue to do, I remain eternally grateful to him.

That's my inspiration 🙌
