Hello, beautiful people of HiveOpenMic. I hope, like me, you are having a great time this weekend. I always like to express that it is a great pleasure and privilege to be out here meeting great music enthusiasts and talented individuals. This week, we are reflecting on the theme of Grace, and I think it is super timely. Thanks to @stefanovah for this beautiful theme.

Hola, hermosas personas de HiveOpenMic. Espero que, como yo, estén teniendo un excelente fin de semana. Siempre me gusta expresar que es un gran placer y privilegio estar aquí conociendo a grandes entusiastas de la música y personas talentosas. Esta semana, estamos reflexionando sobre el tema de la Gracia, y creo que es muy oportuno. Gracias a @stefanovah por este hermoso tema.

Grace means many things to many people, but I can dare to make a summarized and generalized opinion by saying that grace, for most persons, can mean the act of receiving favors, especially when unmerited, or even a state of inner happiness. In essence, it is mostly associated with a positive experience.

La gracia significa muchas cosas para muchas personas, pero me atrevo a hacer una opinión resumida y generalizada al decir que la gracia, para la mayoría de las personas, puede significar el acto de recibir favores, especialmente cuando no se merecen, o incluso un estado de felicidad interna. En esencia, está mayormente asociada con una experiencia positiva.

Although I agree with the former, that is, grace being the act of receiving favors, I relate more to the latter, that is, grace being a state of inner happiness. May I highlight that the type of happiness I am talking about is not just smiling or laughing hard. Instead, I am talking about a happiness that stays in the heart in joy and in pain, in difficult moments and in easy-going moments. Whether you are smiling or frowning. It remains. That happiness for me is Grace.

Aunque estoy de acuerdo con lo primero, es decir, la gracia como el acto de recibir favores, me identifico más con lo segundo, es decir, la gracia como un estado de felicidad interna. Quisiera destacar que el tipo de felicidad del que hablo no es solo sonreír o reírse mucho. En cambio, estoy hablando de una felicidad que permanece en el corazón en la alegría y en el dolor, en los momentos difíciles y en los momentos fáciles. Ya sea que estés sonriendo o frunciendo el ceño. Permanece. Esa felicidad para mí es Gracia.

No wonder people often use the word gracefulness to describe individuals when they exhibit the calmness that comes with inner happiness. I believe in these last days; I have been gifted by that type of grace. Although everything may not be going as planned, I still find reasons to rejoice and be essentially happy.

No es de extrañar que la gente use con frecuencia la palabra gracia para describir a las personas cuando muestran la calma que viene con la felicidad interna. Creo que en estos últimos días, he sido agraciado con ese tipo de gracia. Aunque no todo esté saliendo según lo planeado, todavía encuentro razones para alegrarme y estar esencialmente feliz.

Therefore, in response to the theme, I have composed a very unique melody. It is my intention to modify it later into a full song, but for this week, I will present the melody version of this song in an alternative Afro-Jazz feel. I really enjoyed playing it, and I hope you have fun as I did while composing and recording this piece for you guys!

Por lo tanto, en respuesta al tema, he compuesto una melodía muy única. Mi intención es modificarla más tarde para convertirla en una canción completa, pero por esta semana presentaré la versión de melodía de esta canción en un estilo alternativo de Afro-Jazz. Realmente disfruté tocándola, y espero que se diviertan tanto como yo lo hice al componer y grabar esta pieza para ustedes.
