**LA VOZ CANTANTE SEMANA 37| TWALE BY FLOROCKA|
Hello Guys! Welcome to the 37th week of the La voz CANTANTE contest. It is always a pleasure to be here and to participate.
This week, I present to you, a rock gospel song by a very energetic artist by the name, FLOROCKA or just Flo for short. If you observe very well you will notice that he has Rock added to his stage name. That is because most of his songs are always lively with rock feels and are always accompanied by energetic ambience to the extent that it makes you want to dance!
For this reason, I have chosen to sing one of his songs titled TWALE which à native Nigerian way of saying hail! It is a song of praise which hails God for his majesty and glorious nature.
In the beginning part of the song, the artist expresses the wish to transform himself to Angel, Sun, Eagle and so on, so as to be able to give a befitting praise to God. That is to say that man is limited and cannot give a complete praise to God because his majesty surpasses all.
With all these said, I believe the song is better presented by the artist as you shall see below in his original video, which he performed live in London with his band.
I REALLY HOPE YOU ENJOY THE SONG
HERE IS THE LINK TO THE ORIGINAL SONG
If I was an eagle: I would lift myself, spread my wings and fly
If I was a lion: I would run into the jungle, and give the loudest growl
And if I was the sun: Yes I would rise early in the morning
And shine my light so bright
If was an angel, I would sound the alarm
For the whole of creation to bow at your feet
Refrain:
Kabiyesi Oluwa run (Almighty God)
I have come to give you twale (To give you twale)
To give you worship (To give you worship)
If I was a little child, I would sing and shout for joy
If I was a stallion oh, I would use my horsepower
If I was a shining star, I would illuminate everywhere
And if I was the son of a governor,
I would make everybody troway (give a) salute o
And if I could control the times, I would go back to the garden of Eden
I would give you the worship that only you deserve
I would look for beautiful names like
Alade Wura o (Your Crown is of pure Gold)
Yes I will go on soun and patewo iye gbe oruko re ga o (..?..)
