Hola amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes algunas curiosidades del doblaje español latino de los Simpsons. Muchas veces el lenguaje es modificado para adaptarse a las expresiones que utiliza la población según su cultura y ubicación geográfica. Por lo que hay en los doblajes no todo es literal y por ello me ha surgido la curiosidad de descubrir algunas palabras, nombres o expresiones que evidentemente son distintas a al idioma original de la serie.

Hello friends of Hive, in this opportunity I want to share with you some curiosities of the Latin Spanish dubbing of the simpsons. Many times the language is modified to adapt to the expressions used by the population according to their culture and geographic location. For what there is in the dubbing is not everything is literal and therefore I have been curious to discover some words, names or expressions that are obviously different from the original language of the series.

Por ello, hoy elegí 3 escenas , que me llamaban la atención, y me di a la tarea de buscar las escenas en idioma inglés para comprarlas con las escenas del doblaje.

Therefore, today I chose 3 scenes, which caught my attention, and I gave myself the task of looking for the scenes in English language to buy them with the dubbing scenes.

En la primera escena podemos ver al Sr. Burns, quien se hace pasar por un tal Sr Bolainas en una reunión en el ayuntamiento para proponer que un dinero que el pueblo ha recibido, se invierta en la planta nuclear, obviamente es rechazado y se ve obligado a huir de una manera bastante peliculezca, al final terminan invirtiendo el dinero en un Mono Riel, que resulta una estafa pobres ciudadanos de Srpingfield.

In the first scene we can see Mr. Burns, who impersonates a Mr. Bolainas in a meeting at the town hall to propose that a money that the people have received, be invested in the nuclear plant, obviously is rejected and is forced to flee in a rather peliculezca way, in the end they end up investing the money in a Monkey Rail, which turns out to be a scam poor citizens of Srpingfield.

El nombre que el Sr. Bolainas utiliza en Inglés es Mr. Snrub, o Burns al revés.

The name Mr. Bolainas uses in English is Mr. Snrub, or Burns in reverse.

La segunda escena es de un episodio en donde Homero es vetado del bar de Moe, por jugarle una broma en la que termina llenando la barra de azúcar, Moe y todos los borrachos son muy severos con Homero y lo expulsan del bar, Homero intenta encontrar otro bar, pero no tiene éxito. Sorprendentemente aparece el doble exacto de Homero, llamado Cosme Fulanito, el cual entra a la taberna de Moe, y expulsado a golpes, pues estos creen que se trata de homero disfrazado, y resulta que no lo es.

The second scene is from an episode where Homer is banned from Moe's bar, for playing a joke in which he ends up filling the bar with sugar, Moe and all the drunks are very severe with Homer and expel him from the bar, Homer tries to find another bar, but is unsuccessful. Surprisingly the exact double of Homer appears, called Cosme Fulanito, who enters Moe's tavern, and expelled with blows, because they believe that it is Homer in disguise, and it turns out that it is not.

El nombre en Ingles no es Cosme Fulanito, sino Guy Incognito, vaya locura, seguro hay alguna referencia cinematográfica detrás de ese nombre.

The name in English is not Cosme Fulanito, but Guy Incognito, crazy, surely there is some movie reference behind that name.

Y por ultimo tenemos la escan en la que Milhouse dice que Marge está buena, me dio mucha curiosidad saber que decía en inglés y es aun peor o más directo, pues dice que ella está caliente o es Sexy, “i think she’s hot”. En el doblaje latino, se camufla la frase diciendo que intentaba hacer que rimase, pero en inglés Milhouse dice que se le salió, toda una confesión.

And finally we have the scan in which Milhouse says that Marge is hot, I was very curious to know what he said in English and it is even worse or more direct, because he says that she is hot or Sexy, "i think she's hot". In the Latin dubbing, the phrase is camouflaged by saying that he was trying to make it rhyme, but in English Milhouse says it came out, quite a confession.
