Interpretar la música de mi país siempre me genera una alegría muy especial, es una conexión natural, pues estoy hecha de mi país, Venezuela. He podido disfrutar de la costa, la sabana, el desierto, la metrópolis, el llano, la cordillera y en cada uno de esos sitios he podido disfrutar de la belleza de mi tierra con todas las diferentes sensaciones que puede despertar sentirse parte de un lugar, sentir que estás en tu Hogar.

Performing the music of my country always generates a very special joy for me, it is a natural connection, because I am made of my country, Venezuela. I have been able to enjoy the coast, the savannah, the desert, the metropolis, the plains, the mountains and in each of these places I have been able to enjoy the beauty of my land with all the different sensations that can awaken feeling part of a place, feeling that you are at home.

Hoy en este martes de tres melodías quiero compartir tres canciones venezolanas interpretadas en cuatro. Me gustan mucho y aunque no las he tocado con frecuencia, sí que las he tarareado y cantando durante mucho tiempo. La primera de ella se llama Pasillaneando una forma de decir, a mi entender, que se pasea por ese llano amplio y majestuoso, una canción llena de recuerdos por un amor perdido.

Today in this Tuesday of three melodies I want to share three Venezuelan songs interpreted in four. I like them very much and although I have not played them often, I have been humming and singing them for a long time. The first one is called Pasillaneando a way of saying, in my opinion, strolling through that wide and majestic plain, a song full of memories for a lost love.

La segunda canción se llama Puerto La Cruz que es la ciudad donde vivo, es una hermosa poesía hecha para esta ciudad a la que el autor llama pedacito de cielo, rincón oriental y la tercera se llama Aquel y es una canción bellamente triste como les suelo llamar a este tipo de canciones, también habla sobre un ser querido que ya no está y como toda la naturaleza y animales que le rodeaban llega a sufrir por esta perdida marchándose muy lejos.

The second song is called Puerto La Cruz which is the city where I live, it is a beautiful poem made for this city which the author calls pedacito de cielo, rincón oriental and the third one is called Aquel and it is a beautifully sad song as I usually call this kind of songs, it also talks about a loved one who is no longer there and how all the nature and animals that surrounded him come to suffer for this loss by going far away.

La música es ese lugar plácido a dónde siempre puedo volver para tener calma y sosiego, es una gran bendición. Es el espacio donde cada melodía abraza al alma. Cantar es una de mis maneras de regocijarme con lo bueno de la vida.

Music is that placid place where I can always return to have calm and tranquility, it is a great blessing. It is the space where each melody embraces the soul. Singing is one of my ways of rejoicing in the good things in life.
