Hello music lovers and musicians Hive

This is Hive #openmicweek104. Like the week before,lots of musicians and music lovers participate in the event every week.This week's theme was chosen by one of my friends at Hive @alejandrorigo a creative and talented musician, the theme this week is 'Guitarra automática'.

On this occasion I brought a song NU Metal band from Bakersfield, California. The title song is 'Here to stay' by KoRn. In this song I use guitar strings size 10-46 with a drop A tuning. From string number 6 is A, D, G, C, B, E. Actually I have ordered strings size 12-60 for me to play in drop A or drop B. But for some reason my order hasn't arrived yet,that's why I use 10-46 size strings. It does feel 'soft' the strings, but for now this is the only string I have, so I just do it!

~A little story about KoRn~

In the history of international music, KoRn is one of the big bands from the United States and succeeded in popularizing a new genre of its time. Korn's presence in the world of music is known as one of the factors that brought the NU METAL genre to the fore and succeeded in bringing the genre to acceptance by music lovers around the world.

KoRn was 'born' from an idea led by three musicians, James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and David Silveria. The founders of KoRn previously joined a funk metal band called L.A.P.D. which managed to spawn a full album and an EP from 1989 to 1992 before finally deciding to disband.

Munky, Fieldy, and David, who were still passionate about playing music, finally decided to start a band again. Before becoming KoRn, the early days the formation of this band known as 'Creep' and filled by Munky as guitarist, Fieldy as bass player, and David as drummer. The three of them eventually recruited Jonathan Davis as vocalist and Brian "Head" Welch to fill in for guitar. With the position already complete, the five of them finally decided to change the band's name to 'KoRn' since 1993 until now.

The first time I heard about the band KoRn was when I was in junior high school. The end of the 90's and entering the Millennium era there were many NU Metal genre bands, such as Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and many others.The first KoRn album I had was 'Untouchables'. I still remember the first time I bought it, my uncle and I went to a music store to buy a cassette. And my eyes were immediately drawn to the words "Untouchable" on the cover of KoRn's cassette. That's where I started to learn about underground music.

Hola amantes de la música y músicos Hive

Aquí Hive #openmicweek104. Al igual que la semana anterior, muchos músicos y amantes de la música participan en el evento cada semana. El tema de esta semana fue elegido por uno de mis amigos de Hive @alejandrorigo, un músico creativo y talentoso, el tema de esta semana es 'Guitarra automática'.

En esta ocasión les traje una canción de NU Metal de la banda de Bakersfield, California. El título de la canción es 'Here to stay' de KoRn. En esta canción utilizo cuerdas de guitarra de tamaño 10-46 con una afinación drop A. De la cuerda número 6 es A, D, G, C, B, E. En realidad, he pedido cuerdas de tamaño 12-60 para jugar en el drop A o el drop B. Pero por alguna razón, mi pedido aún no ha llegado, eso es por qué uso cuerdas de tamaño 10-46. Las cuerdas se sienten 'suaves', pero por ahora esta es la única cuerda que tengo, ¡así que lo hago!

~Una pequeña historia sobre KoRn~

En la historia de la música internacional, KoRn es una de las grandes bandas de los Estados Unidos y logró popularizar un nuevo género de su tiempo. La presencia de Korn en el mundo de la música es conocida como uno de los factores que llevaron al género NU METAL a primer plano y logró que el género fuera aceptado por los amantes de la música de todo el mundo.
