El tema de esta semana para el Hive #Openmic nos invita a hablar sobre los Recuerdos, durante nuestra vida vamos coleccionando miles de ellos, algunos positivos otros no tanto, pero al final todos forman nuestra personalidad. Definida, en gran parte, por lo bueno que decidimos recordar. Claro está, que también requerimos recordar algunas cosas no tan agradables que nos hayan permitido crecer como seres humanos y que nos eviten repetir errores pasados.

Seguramente seremos más cautos en brindar nuestra confianza para no volver a ser traicionados al recordar a personas que no tienen palabra y en quienes confiamos ciegamente, también aprenderemos sobre aquello que amamos hacer y en lo que somos buenos, atesorando los hermosos recuerdos vividos, esos que nos sacan sonrisas una y otra vez.

Una de las cosas que más amo hacer es cantar, es algo que siento que me renueva, en lo que me he preparado de a poco y he vivido experiencias maravillosas. He conocido gente estupenda gracias al canto, he podido viajar para llevar ese canto y he tenido la bendición de recibir aplausos de pie, algo que me ha hecho llorar de la emoción.

Esta canción que hoy comparto, sella uno de los mejores momentos musicales que he podido vivir. Un concierto de pelicula al que fui invitada a cantar una pieza de Edith Piaf, también tuve la alegría de cantar, con el coro que fundé, un solo de Somewhere over the rainbow. Fue un evento hermoso junto a la Orquesta Filarmónica de Anzoátegui, sin saber fránces me atreví a cantar esta canción, digamos que no tuve opción, era Yo o Yo (así me lo hicieron saber), aunque expliqué mi nulo dominio en el francés me confiaron esa tarea, así que me preparé lo mejor que pude y di lo mejor de mí misma en ese maravilloso día.

Recuerdo ese momento musical como algo excelso, por la sensación de salir de mi cuerpo mientras cantaba, ese día sentí que flotaba y que en esa nota larga del final volaba hasta un lugar mágico, ese día sentir el aplauso en el repleto Gran Salón del Hotel Maremares fue algo inolvidable.

This week's theme for the Hive #Openmic invites us to talk about Memories. During our lives we collect thousands of them, some positive, others not so much, but in the end they all form our personality. Defined, in large part, by the good things we choose to remember. Of course, we also need to remember some not so pleasant things that have allowed us to grow as human beings and that prevent us from repeating past mistakes.

We will surely be more cautious in giving our trust so as not to be betrayed again by remembering people who have no word and in whom we trust blindly, we will also learn about what we love to do and what we are good at, treasuring the good memories we have lived, those that make us smile again and again.

One of the things I love doing the most is singing, it is something that I feel renews me, in which I have prepared myself little by little and I have lived wonderful experiences. I have met wonderful people thanks to singing, I have been able to travel to bring that singing and I have had the blessing of receiving standing ovations, something that has made me cry with emotion.

This song that I share today, seals one of the best musical moments that I have been able to live. A movie concert to which I was invited to sing a piece of Edith Piaf, also that day I had the joy of singing with the choir I founded a solo of Somewhere over the rainbow. It was a beautiful event with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Anzoategui, without knowing French I dared to sing this song, let's say I had no choice, it was Me or I (so they let me know), although I explained my null mastery in French they entrusted me with this task, so I prepared the best I could and gave the best of myself on that wonderful day.

I remember that musical moment as something sublime, for the sensation of leaving my body while singing, that day I felt that I was floating and that in that long note at the end I was flying to a magical place, that day to feel the applause in the packed Great Hall of the Maremares Hotel was something unforgettable.
