Y una vez más bienvenido a un nuevo viaje al pasado de los videojuegos. Un espacio donde nos embarcamos a recorrer un poco aquellos clásicos videojuegos que formaron parte de mi historia y de seguro de muchos de ustedes. Hemos recorrido muchos mundos que sin duda nos complace recordar y estoy seguro de que muchos de ustedes han gozado de estos viajes al pasado de los videojuegos.

He estado buscando algunos videojuegos que no haya compartido con ustedes, y debo confesar que ya se ha tornado un poco difícil la búsqueda pues han sido muchos los videojuegos que he compartido y hemos revivido juntos. Estoy seguro de que la lista es más larga de lo que aparenta aun cuando ya hemos compartido muchos. En mi opinión, es que no todos fueron tan populares y no lograron mantener el éxito de la franquicia. Por ejemplo la lista de videojuegos para la Nes tiene un aproximado de 70 juegos, pero no todos son tan recordados como otros. Es algo que a mí parecer es normal, aún hoy en las existentes consolas de videojuegos existen fracasos y éxitos.

^{I have been looking for some video games that I have not shared with you, and I must confess that the search has already become a little difficult as there have been many video games that I have shared and we have relived together. Hoy vamos a recordar uno de los que aún considero, uno de los videojuegos más difíciles de la lista de estos clásicos. Hemos hablado de Contra, Metroid, Metal Gear pero uno de los videojuegos que aún hoy se me hace complicado es este y no les estoy mintiendo. Como verán en mi corto Gameplay, soy un jugador a quien le gusta arriesgar y para jugar Metal Slug arriesgar es una debilidad. Hay quienes ponen a Contra como uno de los videojuegos árcade más complicado y capaz lo sea pero para mí, este siempre ha sido una piedra en el zapato. O por lo menos en mi caso. Ahora bien, hablemos un poco de Metal Slug.

^{Today we are going to remember one of what I still consider one of the most difficult videogames in the list of these classics. We have talked about Contra, Metroid, Metal Gear but one of the video games that even today is still complicated for me is this one and I am not lying to you. As you will see in my short Gameplay, I am a gamer who likes to take risks and to play Metal Slug taking risks is a weakness. Some people consider Contra to be one of the most complicated arcade games and maybe it is, but for me, this one has always been a stone in the shoe. Or at least in my case. Now, let's talk a bit about Metal Slug.}

Metal slug tiene un parecido muy evidente a Contra pero lo que lo distingue uno del otro es su estilo bien detallado y colorido. Los escenarios, personajes, armas y otros que están bien presentados en gráficos pixelados de alta calidad además, nos presenta en algunas situaciones un toque de humor y personajes bastantes extravagantes que le agregan un poco más de diversión al videojuego.

^{Metal Slug has a very obvious resemblance to Contra but what distinguishes one from the other is its well-detailed and colorful style. The scenarios, characters, weapons and others are well presented in high quality pixelated graphics and in some situations it presents us with a touch of humor and quite extravagant characters that add a little more fun to the game.}

Este videojuego originalmente fue para un sistema llamado Neo GEO, yo conocí este videojuego gracias a la primera Xbox que tuve. Este es un videojuego poco conocido pero con más de dos décadas en el mercado. Hoy les invito a recordar este divertido pero complicado videojuego.
