When I learned about this week's theme: Urban music, I sincerely thought I would not be able to join this week, I thought I would not find a song to share, however, I remembered a song by the Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo, whose lyrics catch my attention, It is a song that talks about the love breakup and the way in which a couple who loved each other madly come to be in the same room feeling that they can not breathe the same air, I think it's a pretty strong and sobering lyrics for a rhythm like reggaeton whose stories are more focused on being light and trivial.
On this occasion I didn't want to make use of a track, I didn't want to feel so regueton-ish, so I started to approach the song using my guitar, but something didn't quite convince me. Then I thought that since the song consists of only four chords I could use the keyboard to accompany me, and even though I don't know how to play the keyboard it can pull it off. For things like this I am 100% sure that by motivating yourself to create content you can empower yourself. Who would have thought that I would be able to release a song on the keyboard? And thanks to this challenge proposed by the Hive Open Mic I did it, with all its details I am happy to have been able to record this cover.
I hope you like this presentation and that you continue to be motivated to create from the desire to share your essence in these corners! On this occasion I didn't want to make use of a track, I didn't want to feel so regueton-ish, so I started to approach the song using my guitar, but something didn't quite convince me.
