Un gran abrazo la comunidad tecnológica de HIVE, es un gusto para mi presentarles esta sección de Retro-Tecnología, donde compartiré con ustedes mis experiencias con equipos que su momento fueron lo máximo en tecnología. En esta ocasión le ha tocado el turno al WALKMAN FM/AM con CASETE, un equipo de reproductor de música lanzado por los años 80, 90, y es interesante que después de más de 40 poder manipular este interesante equipo. En el recurso audiovisual se realiza la revisión del equipo WALKMAN WM-fx241, al mismo tiempo que se interactúa con Linder Colque y Adriel Colque, contando así con la opinión de dos generaciones. Este WALKMAN WM-fx241 me sorprende que en mercados como AMAZON se consiga en un costo aproximada de 82$, supongo que un precio así por el sentido de colección del mismo.

La entrada clásica del audífono 3.5 mm me parece super interesante que se ha mantenido en el tiempo, por un instante pensaba que mi audífono no iba a funcionar con el WALKMAN pero resultó que sí, es por ello que a este episodio lo denomino encuentro de tecnología después de 43 años. Después de colocar los audífonos mis entrevistados disfrutaron de música del ayer, y quedaron encantados. El señor Linder Colque manifestó:

La música de Casete suena mucho mejor que la música de CD…

I find the classic 3.5 mm headphone input super interesting that has been maintained over time, for a moment I thought my headphone was not going to work with the Walkman but it turned out it did, that's why I call this episode a technology encounter after 43 years. After placing the headphones my interviewees enjoyed the music of yesterday, and they were delighted. Mr. Linder Colque said:

El equipo usa baterías doble AA y la reproducción de música es a través de un CASETE, y aquí me surge esta curiosidad ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que recuerdas haber utilizado esta tecnología de reproducción de sonido? Sinceramente esto me remonta a mi época de primaria antes del año 2000.

The equipment uses double AA batteries and the music playback is through a CASETTE, and here I am curious when was the last time you remember using this sound reproduction technology? Honestly, this takes me back to my elementary school days before the year 2000.

Lo otro que me llama la atención es la durabilidad de los casete, y al mismo tiempo el sistema de protección de los mismos, que a pesar del paso de los años se mantienen con una nitidez de audio fascinante. No podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de experimentar la curiosidad de retroceder el casete de forma manual. En la siguiente imagen te comparto este momento:

Realmente toda una experiencia, por lo que conservaré con mucho cariño este equipo que mi esposa me ha regalado. Lo único que le está fallando a este WALKMAN WM-fx241 es la radio FM/AM, si encuentro un técnico que pueda solucionar este inconveniente, con gusto les estaré compartiendo esta experiencia. También intentaré de bsucar casete con música de los años 80, 90, cursos de inglés que pueden estar económicos precisamente por lo antiguo del formato, y sacarle provecho a este equipo en pleno siglo 21.
