Ayer el Real Madrid disputó su primer partido liguero ante el Almería, en lo que fue un partido muy duro sobre todo porque el Madrid sufrió un gol a los 6 minutos por falta de concentración de sus jugadores defensivos, especialmente de Rudiger.

Este fue el tipo de partido en el que no importa cuántos tiros e intentos tenga un equipo, parece imposible que la pelota entre. El Real Madrid fue capaz de abrumar a los defensores del Almería desde el principio del partido, pero por momentos estaba seguro de que mucha gente pensaba que el partido iba a terminar con una victoria para el Almería.

El Real Madrid simplemente no podía marcar su merecido gol, y los minutos siguieron pasando. Y de vez en cuando, el Almería era incluso capaz de crear algunos buenos ataques principalmente porque los jugadores del Real Madrid estaban centrados en su ataque y no tanto en la defensa.

Yesterday Real Madrid played their first league match against Almeria, in what was a very challenging match especially because Madrid suffered a goal at the 6-minute mark due to a lack of concentration from their defensive players, especially from Rudiger.

This was the type of match where no matter how many shots and attempts one team has, it seems to be impossible for the ball to go inside. Real Madrid was able to overwhelm Almeria's defenders from the beginning of the match, but at times I was sure many people thought the match was going to end with a victory for Almeria.

Real Madrid was simply unable to score their well-deserved goal, and the minutes continued to pass by. And from time to time, Almeria was even capable of creating some good attacks mainly because Real Madrid players were focused on their attack and not so much on the defense.

Everything changed in the second half when Ancelotti decided to send Modric to the pitch, and later on, around the 58-minute mark, Hazard went to the pitch. These 2 players are known for being highly creative in creating attacking plays that don't require too much open space to pan out.

With those 2 players on the pitch, Real Madrid's attacks were even more dangerous than before, and their first goal was finally scored by Vázquez after an amazing move by Vinicius. When Real Madrid scored this first goal, I would bet many people were now favoring a Real Madrid victory, and this indeed happened later on thanks to an amazing free-kick goal by Alaba.

In the end, this match was a well-deserving victory for Real Madrid, and since it was a very challenging experience for the players, I believe this type of victory strengthen and make them even better for the coming weeks. Difficult victories are important for the squad to develop confidence in themselves, so I consider this beginning a very good one.
