From some remote place in the universe, some far away planet of which we have no knowledge, an alien species is watching us and especially at this time of year they want to know what Christmas and the New Year is all about for human beings.

They look at us with great attention, at every detail, the decorations, the children's laughter, the presents and in their hearts this species wants to give us something.

They want to give us a light, reflected in their eyes, a light to let us know that we are not alone, and that light of hope to always shine in our hearts. The light of love. The message they want to give us is that love is the most powerful force.

Design process

The design is made with three images plus one generated by the AI WOMBO free version.

The key word for the creation of the image was alien, and the Dreamland v3 style, after several attempts I achieved what I was looking for.

To design the background I used two images, about universe and extraterrestrial planets.

The first image I placed in three layers with normal, exclusion and luminosity mergers.

Then I placed the second one in two layers with merge darken and overlay.

Then I arranged the AI-generated image of an alien between layers in different positions and with fades to darken, focal light and strong light.

That same image I placed it in two more layers focusing on the eyes over everything, enlarging it until I got the result I wanted, with lighten and strong light blends.

Finally I used the image of the candle placing it over one of the alien's eyes, erasing the excess, so that the candle was right in the eye, and made two layers with lighten and soft light blends. Those same layers I duplicated and flipped horizontally and placed them over the other eye.

The animation is completely done in After Effects, working the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for a better contrast.

Desde algún lugar remoto del universo, el algún planeta muy lejano del cual no tenemos conocimiento una especie alienígena nos observa y sobre todo en estas fechas quieren saber de que trata la Navidad y el Año nuevo para los seres humanos.

Nos miran con mucha atención, a cada detalle, las decoraciones, las risas de los niños, los regalos y dentro de sus corazones esta especie quieren regalarnos algo.

Quieren darnos una luz, reflejada en sus ojos, una luz para que sepamos que no estamos solos, y esa luz de la esperanza para que siempre brille en nuestros corazones. La luz del amor. El mensaje que quieren darnos es que el amor es la fuerza más poderosa.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con tres imágenes más una generada por la AI WOMBO versión gratuita.

La palabra clave para la creación de la imagen fue alien, y el estilo Dreamland v3, luego de varios intentos logré lo que buscaba.

Para diseñar el fondo usé dos imágenes, sobre temas de universo y planetas extraterrestres.

La primera imagen la coloqué en tres capas con fusiones normal, exclusión y luminosidad.

Luego puse la segunda en dos capas con fusiones oscurecer y superponer.

Luego dispuse la imagen generada por la IA de un alien en tres capas en distintas posiciones y con fusiones oscurecer, luz focal y luz fuerte.

Esa misma imagen la coloque en dos capas más enfocando los ojos, sobre todo, agrandándola hasta obtener el resultado que quería, con fusiones aclarar y luz fuerte.

Finalmente usé la imagen de la vela colocándola sobre uno de los ojos del alien, borrando el excedente, para que justo estuviera la vela en el ojo, y realice dos capas con fusiones aclarar y luz suave. Esas mismas capas las dupliqué y volteé horizontalmente y las puse sobre el otro ojo.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
