Hive's Top Model Reto: Pasarela (Naturaleza y Vida) 🍃🤎

Bienvenidos a un nuevo Reto del Hive´s Top Model gente amada, espero se encuentre muy bien! De todo el mes, este era el reto que me tenía más emocionada, desde la primera semana realmente, ya tenía ideas de como quería que fuese mi Pasarela, el Outfit, y hasta ya había decidido el lugar donde grabaría, jajaj. Quise agregar un poco de mi Arte (el Baile), a la introducción de la Pasarela mediante movimientos de brazos inspirados en varias manifestaciones de Vida, como el movimiento del Agua, el fluir de Aire, y en particular, a los movimientos de las Serpientes; motivado al print de mi Top, que fue ese toque que me terminó de conectar con el tema correspondiente, Naturaleza y Vida.

Welcome to a new Hive's Top Model Challenge, I hope you are doing well! Of the whole month, this was the challenge that had me more excited, since the first week really, I already had ideas of how I wanted my catwalk to be, the Outfit, and I had even decided the place where I would shoot, hahahah. I wanted to add a bit of my Art (the Dance), to the introduction of the Runway through arm movements inspired by various manifestations of Life, such as the movement of Water, the flow of Air, and in particular, the movements of the Snakes; motivated by the print of my Top, which was that touch that ended up connecting me with the corresponding theme, Nature and Life.

En cuanto al Outfit, el Short que me coloqué lo tenía presente desde el día uno, tanto por su color, que lo conecto con las diferentes tonalidades de la Tierra, e incluso de la Arena, y por dar un toque elegante por su diseño, sin ser estravagante. En un princio el Top que escogí no estaba en mis opciones, porque quería evaluar la posibilidad de comprarme uno en específico, pero no se pudo dar, así que tocó abrir mi closet y lo mejor que combinaba tanto con el Short y la temática fue ese Top, que al final me terminó gustando mucho la combinación, puedo decir que estoy satisfecha jaja. Por otra parte, pensaba realizar mi Pasarela con unas sandalias de tacón, y aunque las tenía en mi bolso el día que grabé, preferí no utilizarlas debido al suelo del lugar que para nada plano era en su mayoría, y pues caminar por allí me iba a ser incómodo y hasta riesgoso con tacones, pero a pesar de, las sandalias bajitas le dieron un toque más de naturalidad y feminidad, sin perder la elegancia del resto del Outfit.

Mi Pasarela la realicé en el Parque los Chorros, en mi ciudad, Caracas. Escogí el lugar por su interesante y bonita vegetación, su imponente cascada y sus colores. Como les mencioné, el suelo terminó siendo un poquito más tedioso de lo que imaginé, no había muchos espacios bonitos y planos por donde pudiese caminar cómoda, pero algo logré y estoy bastante a gusto de como quedaron los diferentes clips... en cuanto al Maquillaje, escogí un Social Glam con tonos terracota, cafés y dorados para combinar con el Outfit, darle color y resaltar mi mirada. Considero que logré un look bastante elegante y sencillo a la vez, para el lugar, la hora y concepto general de mi Pasarela...

As for the Outfit, the Short that I wore I had it in mind from day one, both for its color, which connects it with the different shades of the Earth, and even the Sand, and for giving an elegant touch by its design, without being extravagant. At first the Top I chose was not in my options, because I wanted to evaluate the possibility of buying a specific one, but it was not possible, so I had to open my closet and the best thing that combined both with the Short and the theme was that Top, in the end I ended up liking the combination, I can say that I am satisfied haha. On the other hand, I was planning to do my catwalk with heeled sandals, and although I had them in my bag the day I filmed, I preferred not to use them due to the floor of the place that was mostly flat, and walking there was going to be uncomfortable and even risky with heels, but despite, the low sandals gave a touch more naturalness and femininity, without losing the elegance of the rest of the Outfit.

I did my catwalk at Los Chorros Park, in my city, Caracas. I chose the place for its interesting and beautiful vegetation, its imposing waterfall and its colors. As I mentioned, the floor ended up being a little more tedious than I imagined, there weren't many nice and flat spaces where I could walk comfortably, but I achieved something and I'm quite happy with how the different clips turned out... as for the Makeup, I chose a Social Glam with terracotta, brown and golden tones to combine with the Outfit, give it color and highlight my look. I think I achieved a very elegant and simple look for the place, the time and the general concept of my catwalk...

Ahora, referente a la pregunta del jurado. Esta la grabé una primera vez en el Parque, pero no me gustó, sinceramente. Aunque ya yo tengo mucha práctica hablando frente a una cámara, esta vez los nervios se hicieron presente por alguna razón, sentía presión del tiempo y el cierre del lugar, y además no había practicado lo suficiente mi respuesta, al punto de que fueron mis gestos, mi forma de expresar la que hizo que no estuviese conforme con el resultado, ya que no me veía tan natural y segura.

Pero lo volví a intentar, hoy viernes. Llegué recién habían abierto el Parque junto a mi papá (quien ha sido mi fotógrafo y camarógrafo este mes), derechito a grabar la pregunta nuevamente, y algunas otras tomas para la pasarela aprovechando que no había nadie. Estuve esta vez más tranquila, hablaba más fluído, y aunque igual no me fue sencillo decir todo a la perfección en un solo video, el resultado esta vez quedó muchísimo mejor que en la primera oportunidad y pues me hace sentir un poco más satisfecha y segura con mi participación... se intentó al menos! Jajaj.

Now, regarding the jury's question. I recorded this one the first time in the Park, but I didn't like it, honestly. Although I already have a lot of practice speaking in front of a camera, this time the nerves were present for some reason, I felt pressure of time and the closure of the place, and also I had not practiced enough my answer, to the point that it was my gestures, my way of expressing that made me not happy with the result, because I did not look so natural and confident.

But I tried again today, Friday. I arrived just after the Park had opened with my dad (who has been my photographer and cameraman this month), right to record the question again, and some other shots for the catwalk, taking advantage of the fact that there was no one there. This time I was calmer, I spoke more fluently, and although it was not easy to say everything perfectly in one video, the result this time was much better than the first time and it makes me feel a little more satisfied and confident with my participation... at least I tried! Hahaha.
