A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it is a pleasure for me to be together with you another weekend. This time I want to share with you a short video that captures my whole experience in the celebration of LGBTIQ+ pride day in my city. I am sure you will enjoy it because it is a colorful journey through two wonderful activities, one of them was the march that takes place every year and the second is an artistic and cultural meeting that for the second year is celebrated in the city.

I also had the opportunity to reconnect with great friends that I had not seen for a long time, so this event was much more special for me. The march has been organized for more than fifteen years in the city by the old school LGBTIQ+ movement, led by trans people who are also part of one of the clubs of sexual diversity with more history locally. On the other hand, "GochiPride" is an initiative born from the new generations, with a fresher perspective of the diverse/sexual reality.

So during this day we saw in action different generations united for the same loving cause of freedom. For me it was a great day, where I enjoyed, had fun and felt safe. Inside me a light of hope was lit again about a more just life for the new LGBTIQ+ generations. I hope you like this short audiovisual sample.

Así celebramos la diversidad (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es un placer para mí estar junto a ustedes otro fin de semana. Esta vez quiero compartirles un video corto que recoge toda mi experiencia en la celebración del día del orgullo LGBTIQ+ en mi ciudad. Estoy segura de que lo van a disfrutar pues es un colorido recorrido a través de dos actividades maravillosas, una de ella fue la marcha que se realiza cada año y la segunda es un encuentro artístico y cultural que por segundo año se celebra en la ciudad.

Además tuve la oportunidad de reencontrarme con grandes amistades que tenía tiempo sin ver, por lo que este evento fue mucho más especial para mí. La marcha ha sido organizada por más de quince años en la ciudad por la movida LGBTIQ+ de la vieja escuela, encabezada por personas Trans que además forman parte de una de las discotecas de la diversidad sexual con más historia a nivel local. Por su parte en “GochiPride” es una iniciativa que nace a partir de las nuevas generaciones, con una perspectiva más fresca de la realidad diverso/sexual.

Así que durante este día vimos en acción a diferentes generaciones unidas por una misma causa amorosa de libertad. Para mí fue un gran día, donde disfrute, me divertí y me sentí a salvo. En mi interior se encendió nuevamente una luz de esperanza sobre una vida más justa para las nuevas generaciones LGBTIQ+. Espero les guste esta breve muestra audiovisual.
