Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, Es un placer para mi estar una vez más con ustedes en open mic. Esta es la semana número 153 y la temática es “Tú Estás Conmigo” me costó un poco elegir la canción correcta, pues había tantas para abordar este hermoso tema, pero por fin me decidí. Se trata de “María” una canción del grupo español “La oreja de Van Gogh” y la cual es interpretada junto a la bellísima Natalia Lafourcade.

Esta canción me gusta mucho, desde la primera vez que la escuche me enganche con ella. Pues tiene una belleza musical y su letra es totalmente poética, sugiera unas imágenes preciosas sobre un romance entre dos personas. Me pareció ideal porque cuando hablamos de estar presente en la vida de alguien, a veces no imaginamos todo lo que eso conlleva. Decir estar o estoy, es comprometerse con los otros: amigos, pareja, familia, compañeros de trabajo, vecinos; estar es una idea que abarca muchas dimensiones.

Por eso creo que para algunas personas es difícil “estar”, pues comprometerse con alguien o con una causa no es tarea fácil. “Estar” toma tiempo, energía, constancia y acciones concretas, “Estar presente” es una de las manifestaciones de amor más lindas. Total que esta hermosa canción es una historia de dos personas que están la una para la otra, sin miedo al futuro o a lo que pueda conllevar sus dos presencias juntándose.

Espero les guste mi versión instrumental, interpretada por supuesto en la guitarra. Me despido hasta la próxima.

A friendly greeting dear Hivers, It is a pleasure for me to be once again with you in open mic. This is week number 153 and the theme is "Tú Estás Conmigo" it took me a while to choose the right song, as there were so many to address this beautiful theme, but I finally decided. It is "Maria" a song by the Spanish group "La oreja de Van Gogh" and which is performed with the beautiful Natalia Lafourcade.

I like this song very much, since the first time I heard it I got hooked on it. It has a beautiful music and its lyrics are totally poetic, suggesting beautiful images about a romance between two people. I found it ideal because when we talk about being present in someone's life, sometimes we don't imagine all that it entails. To say to be or I am, is to engage with others: friends, partner, family, co-workers, neighbors; to be is an idea that encompasses many dimensions.

That is why I believe that for some people it is difficult to "be", because committing to someone or to a cause is not an easy task, "Being" takes time, energy, constancy and concrete actions, "Being present" is one of the most beautiful manifestations of love.
