Un saludo a todas las personas de esta hermosa comunidad de Hive Open Mic, soy @zero49 y es un placer para mi presentarme ante ustedes por primera vez bajo esta temática de Música Tradicional de la semana 152.

Greetings to all the people of this beautiful Hive Open Mic community, I am @zero49 and it is my pleasure to introduce myself to you for the first time under this Traditional Music theme of week 152.

Me parece bastante interesante esta iniciativa pues nos acerca a todos a esas canciones y géneros musicales pertenecientes a otros países, ayudando así a conocer una pequeña parte de su cultura.

I find this initiative quite interesting because it brings us all closer to those songs and musical genres belonging to other countries, thus helping us to know a small part of their culture.

Para esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes mi interpretación de Cuatro Solista de la canción El Diablo Suelto. Este es un vals venezolano compuesto por Heraclio Fernández en el año 1878 como una pieza instrumental, aunque más adelante durante el siglo XX Henrique Hidalgo le daría una letra para ser interpretada por Gualberto Ibarreto.

For this occasion I want to share with you my interpretation of the song El Diablo Suelto for Cuatro Soloist. This is a Venezuelan waltz composed by Heraclio Fernández in the year 1878 as an instrumental piece, although later during the 20th century Henrique Hidalgo would give it lyrics to be interpreted by Gualberto Ibarreto.

Esta canción suelte interpretarse a un tempo acelerado motivo por el cual hay personas que tienden a confundirla con un joropo, si embargo su estructura rítmico-melódica es propia de un vals.

This song is usually played at an accelerated tempo, which is why some people tend to confuse it with a joropo, although its rhythmic-melodic structure is typical of a waltz.

Esta canción tiene un gran significado para mí, me trae muchos recuerdos y me hace recordar todo lo que he mejorado en la ejecución de este instrumento que tanto me encanta, pues fue una de las primeras piezas que aprendí a ejecutar por allá aproximadamente en el 2010, por su puesto, fue una versión simplificada de la armonía de la canción, pues apenas estaba aprendiendo la base de la ejecución del Cuatro en un curso vacacional de aquel momento.

This song has a great meaning for me, it brings back many memories and makes me remember all that I have improved in the execution of this instrument that I love so much, because it was one of the first pieces I learned to play back in 2010, of course, it was a simplified version of the harmony of the song, because I was just learning the basics of playing the Cuatro in a vacation course at that time.

Me gustaría compartir también esta magnifica interpretación del Ensamble Gurrufio para que puedan apreciar una de las tantas interpretaciones que tiene esta pieza.
