En Hive, el voto puede convertirse en una herramienta para producir ingresos. Sin embargo, el empleo incorrecto, no consciente, de él, puede dejarte fuera de la posibilidad de beneficiarte.

En el video hago mucho énfasis en los votos hechos a través de un trail, es decir cuando automatizas tu voto para seguir el voto de algún otro usuario, sea un usuario regular, una ballena o una comunidad de curación. Sin embargo, toda la explicación que acá doy, es exactamente igual al voto ejercido directamente por ti, en cada post.

Es importante tener consciencia de cuánto Hive Power disponemos y cuánto vale nuestro voto. Esto lo puedes verificar en https://hivestats.io/@ylich (solo sustituye el nombre de usuario por el tuyo) y vas a poder ver cuánto es tu HP real, el delegado, el que has recibido, así como el valor en HBD de tu voto al 100% y también el valor de tu voto, según la cantidad de mana disponible para el momento de la consulta.

In the video I put a lot of emphasis on the votes made through a trail, that is when you automate your vote to follow the vote of some other user, be it a regular user, a whale or a curation community. It is important to be aware of how much Hive Power we have and how much our vote is worth. You can verify this at https://hivestats.io/@ylich (just replace the username with yours) and you will be able to see how much your real HP, the delegate, the one you have received, as well as the HBD value of your vote at 100% and also the value of your vote, according to the amount of mana available at the time of the query.

Mientras el HP de nuestra cuenta es bajo, debemos tratar de votar con el mayor porcentaje posible. U(no de los errores de algunas personas es seguir el trail de algunas ballenas o comunidades de curación con un alto Hive Power. Estos usuarios o cuentas suelen votar con un porcentaje bajo, pero repartido entre muchas publicaciones diarias. Si revisas el porcentaje de votos de @OCD, de @curie, @appreciator,@curangel o cualquier cuenta de curación con HP alto, vas a poder ver que todos suelen votar entre el 6 y el 10%. Eso significa un monto alto, cuando tienes poder, pero si tienes un HP, por ejemplo, de 700, tu votó al 100% tendrá un valor de 0.01 (que no es del todo malo), pero si votas al 6%, lo que tú estás aportando a ese post es 0.0006, es decir, menos de una milésima de Hive. A la hora de que el post votado distribuya las recompensas de curación, no te va a tocar nada, pues son "votos de polvo", que es nombre que reciben esos votos tan bajos, que no aportan.

Ese mismo usuario vota un post al 100% y puede recibir cerca del mismo valor del voto de recompensas de curación, es decir 0.01. Si multiplicas eso por los 10 votos que puedes hacer diariamente, para no bajar por debajo de 80% tu mana de voto, significa 0.1 HBD cada día. Este monto lo calculamos sobre 700 HP, por supuesto, en la medida que tu HP siga creciendo, esas cantidades aumentarán, como en mi caso, que diariamente recibo más de 4 hives en forma de HP, solo por concepto de recompensas de curación.

Como mencioné antes, esto aplica para votos manuales, así como para cuentas que siguen algún trail. Por eso es importante que, si decides seguir uno, asegúrate de que sea uno que vote pocos posts, pero con un porcentaje alto.

As long as the HP of our account is low, we should try to vote with the highest percentage possible. One of the mistakes of some people is to follow the trail of some whales or curation communities with a high Hive Power. These users or accounts usually vote with a low percentage, but spread over many daily posts. If you check the voting percentage of @OCD, @curie, @appreciator, @curangel or any high HP curation account, you will be able to see that they all usually vote between 6 and 10%. That means a high amount, when you have power, but if you have a HP, for example, of 700, your 100% vote will have a value of 0.01 (which is not all bad), but if you vote 6%, what you are contributing to that post is 0.0006, that is, less than a thousandth of a Hive. When the voted post distributes the curation rewards, you will not get anything, because they are "dust votes", which is the name given to those low votes, which do not contribute.

That same user votes a post at 100% and can receive about the same value of the curation rewards vote, that is 0.01. If you multiply that by the 10 votes you can make daily, so as not to drop below 80% your voting mana, it means 0.1 hives every day. This amount is calculated on 700 HP, of course, as your HP continues to grow, these amounts will increase, as in my case, I receive daily more than 4 hives in the form of HP, only by way of curation rewards.

As I mentioned before, this applies to manual votes, as well as to accounts that follow a trail. That's why it's important that, if you decide to follow one, make sure it's one that votes few posts, but with a high percentage.
