Hola amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo un juego de carreras de vehículos llamado screamer 4x4, que si bien al principio no me pareció muy interesante, luego me adapté y empecé a ver lo original que es. Es un juego del año 2000 y que creo que vale la pena traer de vuelta después de 23 años para reseñarlo. Creo que este juego tiene bastante potencial para que disfrutemos de un rato de las carreras todo terreno.

Hello friends of Hive, today I bring you a vehicle racing game called screamer 4x4, which although at first did not seem very interesting to me, then I adapted and began to see how original it is. It is a game from the year 2000 and I think it is worth bringing back after 23 years to review it. I think this game has quite a bit of potential for us to enjoy some off-road racing time.

Y bueno como de costumbre es una versión demo y estoy bastante limitado en cuanto vehículos, circuitos e incluso opciones de juego, pero aun asi he podido pasar un buen rato. Iniciamos el modo torneo, en el que estamos solos, no hay más carros en competencia pues conseguiremos nuestra posición por tiempo desde la salida hasta la meta. El trayecto no es nada fácil, y presionar el acelerador puede ser peligroso , pues fácilmente podemos volcar al pasar por una zona bastante irregular.

And well as usual is a demo version and I am quite limited in terms of vehicles, circuits and even game options, but still I could have a good time. We start the tournament mode, in which we are alone, there are no other cars in competition because we will get our position by time from start to finish. The route is not easy at all, and pressing the accelerator can be dangerous, because we can easily tip over when passing through a rather irregular area.

Es fácil perderse pues el camino no está muy bien marcado, aunque una brújula nos dice hacia donde ir, es un elemento que no determiné desde el principio y al final terminé recorriendo los parajes sin un rumbo, hasta que volqué y tuve que salir del juego.

It is easy to get lost because the path is not very well marked, although a compass tells us where to go, it is an element that I did not determine from the beginning and in the end I ended up going through the places without a direction, until I overturned and had to exit the game.

Algo que me gusta son las distintas cámaras que tiene el juego, podemos ver el carro desde fuera, desde la cabina e incluso una cámara ubicada cerca de la rueda izquierda, además al final de la carrera podemos ver la repetición con libertad para controlar las cámaras.

Something I like are the different cameras that the game has, we can see the car from outside, from the cockpit and even a camera located near the left wheel, also at the end of the race we can see the replay with freedom to control the cameras.

Gráficamente está muy bien para ser del año 2000, de verdad que después de 23 años se ve bastante bien, creo que me hubiese gustado que tuviese música, pero lo que alcanzamos a oír es al voz de nuestro copiloto diciéndonos cosas breves acerca del camino.

Graphically it is very good for being from the year 2000, really after 23 years it looks pretty good, I think I would have liked it to have music, but what we can hear is the voice of our co-driver telling us brief things about the road.

Screamer 4x4 me ha parecido bastante original, pues aunque imagino debe haber juegos parecidos, no había visto ninguno como este, tan realista en algunos aspectos. Creo que es un juego que puede ser muy buena opción para aquellos que gustan este tipo de juegos, para quienes no, tal vez podría ser un poco aburrido. Pero bueno queda a juicio de ustedes.

Screamer 4x4 has seemed to me quite original, because although I imagine there must be similar games, I had not seen any like this one, so realistic in some aspects. I think it is a game that can be a very good option for those who like this kind of games, for those who don't, maybe it could be a little boring. But that's up to you.
