VIBES WEB3 Music Competition Week 9 | Don’t Stop Believin’ - Journey (Cover) by @yisusth [ENG/SPA]

Happy start to the week to everyone in the #Vibes community. I wholeheartedly applaud the winners of week #8. All effort is rewarded through faith and diligence. Today I share with you my trumpet interpretation of "Don't Stop Believin'", an immortal Rock classic by the band Journey, composed by Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry and Neal Schon. The lyrics tell a story of hope and search for a dream. I love the title, it is a powerful message that motivates you and invites you not to give up in the face of difficulties. This piece of music is in the key of E major and has a moderate tempo that gives it an optimistic and energetic air. Other aspects I like are the keyboard riff in the introduction and the electric guitar solos. I have several guitarist friends whom I thought about recording this piece later. The drums and bass set a solid and constant rhythm. Performing this song with trumpet seems so curious and at the same time new, I have enjoyed it to the fullest.

Feliz inicio de semana a todos en la comunidad de #Vibes. Aplaudo de todo corazón a los ganadores de la semana #8. Todo esfuerzo es recompensado mediante la fe y la diligencia. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Don’t Stop Believin’», un clásico inmortal del Rock de la banda Journey, compuesta por Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry y Neal Schon. La letra cuenta una historia de esperanza y búsqueda de un sueño. Me encanta el título, es un poderoso mensaje que te motiva y te invita a no rendirte ante las dificultades. Esta pieza musical está en la tonalidad de E mayor y tiene un tempo moderado que le brinda un aire optimista y enérgico. Otros aspectos que me gustan son el riff de teclado en la introducción y los solos de guitarra eléctrica. Tengo varios amigos guitarristas en cuales pensé para grabar esta pieza más adelante. La batería y el bajo marcan un ritmo sólido y constante. Interpretar este tema con trompeta me parece tan curioso y a su vez novedoso, lo he disfrutado al máximo.
