El Bolero refleja nuestra humanidad, nuestras emociones, pensamientos y deseos más profundos. Me siento tan identificado con muchas de sus letras. No solo nos habla de amor, sino de pesar, tristezas y dolores. Esas contradicciones me parecen una parte hermosa de nuestra esencia. Ojalá nuestra vida fuera en un solo sentido, encaminada al éxito, al amor y al reconocimiento, sin embargo, el fracaso, las caídas, y las fallas son esenciales en nuestro crecimiento personal. Nos caemos, nos levantamos y aprendemos de nuestros errores. En una oportunidad estaba colgando una ropa para que se secara, y mientras caminaba sobre el techo de la casa me di un golpe contra un tubo en la pierna derecha. No me van a creer, pero no tardó unos minutos y me di otro golpe más en el mismo lugar, y luego una tercera vez hasta sacarme sangre. Creo que luego de ese evento no volví a subir y aprendí la lección. Uno o aprende por temor, amor o por dolor. Siempre la mejor opción es aprender por amor, aunque no estamos exentos a momentos difíciles.

The Bolero reflects our humanity, our deepest emotions, thoughts, and desires. I feel so identified with many of his lyrics. It not only speaks to us of love but of regret, sadness, and pain. Those contradictions seem to be a beautiful part of our essence. I wish our lives were in one direction, aimed at success, love, and recognition, however, failure, falls, and failures are essential to our personal growth. We fall, we get up, and we learn from our mistakes. On one occasion I was hanging clothes to dry, and while walking on the roof of the house I hit a pipe on my right leg. You won't believe me, but it didn't take a few minutes and I hit myself again in the same place, and then a third time until I drew blood. After that event, I didn't go up again and learned my lesson. One either learns out of fear, love, or pain. The best option is always to learn about love, although we are not exempt from difficult moments.

Me parece tan increíble que haya compuesto esta canción cuando es el escritor de canciones tan célebres como Adoro, Somos Novios y Contigo Aprendí. Crecí escuchando esas canciones, e incluso tuve la oportunidad de tocarlas en el piano y la trompeta. Llévatela es una canción que expresa reproche, decepción, y celos, exaltado las cualidades y defectos de manera equilibrada de la persona que se ama. Yo he estado en esa posición en la cual he dado mi tiempo, mi corazón y mis pensamientos, y se siente pésimo no ser valorado. Afortunadamente, tenemos canciones que nos hablan de esas experiencias y con las cuales nos ubicamos en tiempo y espacio. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta. ¡Que lo disfruten!

I grew up listening to those songs, and even had the opportunity to play them on the piano and trumpet. Take it away is a song that expresses reproach, disappointment, and jealousy, exalting the qualities and defects in a balanced way of the person you love. I've been in that position where I've given my time, my heart, and my thoughts, and it feels awful not to be valued.
