Una de las cosas que he aprendido es la importancia de cuidar nuestro hogar, nuestra morada terrenal. Nuestro planeta merece que lo rescatemos de la irresponsabilidad y de la ignorancia. Veo con tristeza como algunas personas tiran desechos en la calle, cortan y queman árboles sin un poco de conciencia. La clave es la educación ambiental en el hogar. Mis padres siempre me han enseñado principios y valores de corresponsabilidad con el lugar donde vivimos. Cuando llegamos a un sitio, tratamos de dejarlo mejor de como lo encontramos. En ocasiones en mis prácticas de senderismo y en visitas a la playa voy recogiendo en mi bolso los desechos que dejan otras personas. Cuando retorno a casa siento una gran satisfacción al poner un granito de arena por el ambiente. Nuestro planeta nos habla a diario, veo con profundo dolor como ocurren desastres naturales que antes no ocurrían. Debemos hacer algo urgente. La Música es un vehículo de comunicación muy poderoso, y esta puede influir positivamente en nuestras vidas y en nuestro entorno.

Probablemente, la hayas escuchado como yo en la película de Disney Pocahontas. Tanto su versión en inglés como en español nos habla de nuestra relación con la naturaleza y de que debemos esforzarnos por vivir en armonía con ella. Me encanta personalmente la influencia de los nativos americanos, algo que está vinculado con mis creencias y mi fe de que la tierra es una entidad viva, que sufre, siente y nos habla. El tema es de género Pop Balada. La versión en inglés la canta Vanessa Wiliams, pero la versión en español que disfrute de niño fue la de la cantante Mexicana Susana Sabaleta. Ella tiene una poderosa voz soprano, con una extensión vocal increíble. Imagínense esa mujer canta ópera. Tienen que escuchar su versión de Lovin' You
