    About :

Hello Hive Open Mic community! I hope you're all feeling great. Week 105 is themed Colorful, courtesy of friend @mipiano. This time I'll be singing a song that came to me through my family. I heard it from them and it is the only version I know and carry in my heart.

Original by Wilfredo Aponte, Multipiel is a song that reminds us that color when talking about skin and human beings is not important. It is a song that hits directly at racist and discriminatory sentiment. The lyrics say that it doesn't matter if you are black, Indian or white, the most important thing is to be born.

I'll leave the lyrics and our video without further words because I feel the song is self-explanatory. Happily I am again accompanied by my dad @armandolnrs, this time on guitar. I hope you like our version, which we gramed with a Yezz 1 Max Plus and edited with Shot Cut. Thanks to all of you for visiting us and for your support, we'll see you another time.

I don't understand why so many people
look at you according to the color of your skin.
I don't understand why so many people
give importance to the color of your skin
if the most important thing is to be born.

I don't understand why so many people
look at you according to the color of your skin.
I don't understand why so many people
give importance to the color of your skin,
they forget that you are a human being.

    Black, Indian, White,
if the most important thing is to be born.
    Black Indian, White,
They forget that you are a human being.

    Multipiel
