Hive Open Mic Week #167 | "Otaku" - Slam Dunk Opening (Cover) by @yisusth [ENG/SPA]

Welcome to my music blog. It's my pleasure to share my trumpet performance on Hive Open Mic #167 with the theme "Otaku" which was chosen by our community's friend and recent featured artist: @eudarcabello. I have always been a fan of Japanese anime. As a child, I loved watching Mazinger Z, Super Champions, Dragon Ball, Knights of the Zodiac, and more recently Shingeki no Kyojin, Naruto Shippuden, and Boruto. The list is endless because I have always liked watching television, and of course, with the rise of the Internet, horizons, and opportunities have expanded. Today I'm sharing the Opening of one of my favorite animes called Slam Dunk (Suramu Danku), the song is titled Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai from the group BAAD which means ("I want to shout "I like you"). I remember that as soon as I listened to the song, I would run out with my brother to watch it. It was a sacred hour. The song was composed by Shinichiro Ohta Yoshio Tatano, and with lyrics by Kyoji Yamada.

Para mí es un placer compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta en Hive Open Mic #167 con el tema "Otaku" que fue elegido por el amigo y artista destacado reciente de nuestra comunidad: @eudarcabello. Siempre he sido fan de los animes japoneses. De niño me encantaba observar Mazinger Z, Supercampeones, Dragon Ball, Caballeros del Zodiaco, y más recientemente Shingeki no kyojin, Naruto Shippuden, y Boruto. La lista es infinita porque desde siempre me ha gustado ver televisión, y por supuesto con el auge del Internet los horizontes y oportunidades se han expandido. Hoy les comparto el Opening de uno de mis animes favoritos llamado Slam Dunk (Suramu Danku), la canción se titula Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai del grupo BAAD que significa ("Quiero gritar que me gustas"). Recuerdo que apenas escuchaba la canción, salía corriendo junto a mi hermano para observarla. Era una hora sagrada. La canción fue compuesta por Shinichiro Ohta Yoshio Tatano y con letra de Kyoji Yamada.

The song is about the power of love and the desire to express one's feelings for a loved one. This rock ballad is originally in Japanese, below I will leave its translation in English. The instrumentation is simple, composed of acoustic guitar, piano, and drums. I hope you enjoy it.
