Hola HIVERS!! Hace días en casa de mi madre encontré el autógrafo que me dió Walter Giardino (guitarrista de RATA BLANCA) y decidí compartir esta historia con ustedes y dejar algo de su música que tanta influencia ha tenido en mi forma de tocar.

Fue el 29 de Octubre de 2011 cuando se celebró un Gillmanfest en la ciudad de Cumaná (Venezuela, Edo.Sucre) justo donde vivo. La verdad no podía creer que iba a ver a RATA BLANCA en vivo!! Ya conocía la banda, había escuchado muchas de sus canciones y me gustaba mucho. Cuando el concierto terminó logré conseguir dicho autógrafo e intercambiar unas palabras con Walter Giardino, fue increíble, ese tipo es un héroe de la guitarra,un auténtico maestro; me dejó con la boca abierta durante todo el concierto!

Esta historia me ha servido de inspiración y motivación en esos momentos cuando uno siente que no es tan bueno. Yo he pasado varios periodos sin tocar guitarra, en una oportunidad abandoné la guitarra durante 3 años, pero logré conseguir la motivación necesaria para retomarla y está historia me sirvió en su momento para volver. Hello HIVERS!! A few days ago at my mother's house I found the autograph that Walter Giardino (guitarist of RATA BLANCA) gave me and I decided to share this story with you and leave some of his music that has had such an influence on my way of playing.

It was October 29, 2011 when a Gillmanfest was held in the city of Cumaná (Venezuela, Edo.Sucre) right where I live. I really couldn't believe that I was going to see RATA BLANCA live!! I already knew the band, I had listened to many of their songs and I liked it a lot. When the concert ended I managed to get said autograph and exchange a few words with Walter Giardino, it was incredible, that guy is a guitar hero, a true teacher; left me with my mouth open throughout the concert!

This story has served as inspiration and motivation in those moments when one feels that one is not so good. I have spent several periods without playing the guitar, on one occasion I gave up the guitar for 3 years, but I managed to get the necessary motivation to resume it and this story helped me at the time to return. I hope you like the video, I did it with a lot of love, you love them!!

Rata Blanca es un grupo musical argentino de hard rock y heavy metal formado en 1985 en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Se lo considera como una de los más importantes e influyentes del hard rock y heavy metal en español, aunque durante su carrera también han incorporado pesados riffs con estructuras melódicas y armónicas de la música clásica. Héctor Walter Giardino es el guitarrista fundador y líder de la banda. Es considerado como uno de los más influyentes guitarristas del heavy metal en español. La revista Rolling Stone lo ubicó en el puesto N°14 en su lista de "Los 100 mejores guitarristas del rock argentino".
