Como una "salvajada" se puede definir el golpe final de Tigrán Petrosían, pero, un momento! quién es ese tal Petrosían?, quizá aquellos que son asiduos a la comunidad, al ver esto dirán que este personaje es algún jugador de ajedrez y tienen razón, pero, va más allá de ese simple hecho, fue campeón del mundo a mediados de los años 60, pero este hombre es catalogado como un flojo para el ajedrez ya que, empataba muchas partidas a propósito, sus partidas eran muy lentas, pero, si alguien es tomado por holgazán, cómo es posible que haya podido ser campeón del mundo y además, haber retenido el título en una ocasión. En esta partida Petrosían lleva las blancas y con negras se enfrenta Spassky buscando titularse como nuevo monarca del mundo en ajedrez, para aquel tiempo, Spassky era el seguro campeón y que tendría un duradero reinado, pues hasta la prensa creía que Petrosían perdería muy fácilmente por su flojera, pero quiero decir que así como era flojo y holgazán, cuando quería ganar simplemente podía llegar a ser el hueso más difícil de roer, tenía una genialidad oculta la cual no le importaba guardarse para él, en la imagen vemos la dama suicidándose en h8 pero la buena ubicación de el precioso purasangre que Petrosían tiene en d6 terminará ganando ventaja decisiva, pero, para llegar a esa posición Petrosían sacrificó muchas piezas solo para llevar a Spassky a donde él quería, les invito a ver esta inmortal partida donde se puede llegar a ver la grandeza de los genios que llegan a ostentar el flamante título de campeón del mundo.
