A bike post

I've been pedaling non-stop for two days now. Well... let's see, that's a figure of speech. 😁

For now, everything is happening in the City of Havana, Cuba.

Don't I look fit? At least I'm laughing. There's no better way than this, always smiling. And sorry for the quality of the photo, my neighbour sent it to me via Whatsapp (not as a document). I will provide her better instructions tomorrow.

Relive 'Hacia Nuevo Vedado'

The 14 km round trip took place on March 25th. I visited Nuevo Vedado to treat myself, purchasing an item for show-and-tell, which we will unbox together. All good. I'm thrilled. Check out the video to spot any changes in me.

I didn't translate the video because what I'm saying is that I'm tired and I was taking a break and I bought a malt. The rest was not recorded because I was playing music on my phone.

About physical activity, I have to say that I feel very happy every time I go out on my bike. It encourages me to get out of the house more and dedicate time to myself.

I was just taking a break here. I bought some cookies and a malt drink to recharge and be able to go back home.

During this break time, I always enjoy everything around me, feeling all the good vibes it gives off, no matter what's going on. For instance, some kids just arrived to play at that little park. It's so nice to see them playing and having fun without any worries, right? I've decided a while ago to be a bit like them. Not stressing so much about silly things and stuff that haven't even happened. Living in the moment. I won't deny it's tough because it's about changing a lifetime of programming... 44 years of life, imagine that.

I passed by Acapulco Park in Nuevo Vedado. I stopped to show you some views of that place. I lived near that park for a few years and sometimes I would go there to sit in the afternoons and enjoy its cozy atmosphere.

That's the cinema. But the park has some really nice views and there were some elderly people playing dominoes and others practicing Tai Chi.

I moved a bit closer to show you the statue and the pyramid. And, by the way, these guys who were having a good time there also ended up in my shots.

Yesterday I also had a biking session.

And then the return trip was epic. There was a lot of wind and I was carrying a very heavy backpack on my back.

Back home, I only took two photos. The level of pollution in our rivers is horrible and the insensitivity of people to throw garbage like that in those places. It's a feeling of helplessness that I have... terrible.

But I got them here for only 10 USD. They're the ones I'm wearing in the video and they're photochromic glasses. They darken according to the intensity of the light.

I send you a hug and if you allow me, I want to advise you something: be happy now. Do something right now that makes you happy. This is happiness, being present in the present moment.
