Afritunes week #67 || "Believe me" by Johnny Drille, Cover by @mhizerbee

Hello everyone! Welcome to Afritunes week 67 and I still remain @mhizerbee. I trust you are all doing well? For this week, I will be doing one of the suggested songs in the community titled "Believe me " by "Johnny Drille ". I hope you have fun and I hope you enjoy my presentation. Sit tight and enjoy yourself.

This song is a hit and it is being played and sang everywhere and at every nook and cranny of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large 😂. It makes so much sense and it makes meaning as well. "Believe me" is more or less a romantic and love song which is very appealing to lovers, couples etc. I enjoy it most when children sing it.

Johnny Drille expresses his feelings for a certain girl he loves so much persuading her to believe in him that he actually do love her and he wouldn't break her heart. He went further by asking himself what exactly this said lady has done to him to make him love her the way he does. He tries to assure her that he needs her in his family and that it has to be her and nobody else.

He said he is crazily and madly in love with this said girl and that he has been waiting for her for so long thereby convincing her that he will not deceive her. He must have been so very much in love with her and I guess this said girl made him feel butterflies in his belly. 😂

I may not really understand what it means to be in love because I'm yet to 😂 but I know for a fact that when you love someone, you go all out for them by protecting them, caring and doing other sweet stuffs. There has to be some level of sincerity, honesty and loyalty. You have to be trustworthy, transparent and intentional about everything you do.

Most times, the two parties may feel threatened by other opposite sex they meet but then you have to determine to be committed and always give assuring words that no matter what happens, you two will be together.

It will not always be easy because we all have our demons and we have different characters and way of doing things but we have to learn to accommodate our partners and strive to make it work no matter anything.

I'm inspired that even though the world today is full of hate, lies, dishonesty, disloyalty, deceit etc, they are still good people around and for those in relationships we should always believe in our partners and keep remaining faithful.
