Hello dear friends of Hive and @vdc. It is a privilege to be able to participate once again in the eighth installment of the Folk Music Festival.

La canción con la que participo se titula "Aquella cierta sonrisa", de Henrique Hidalgo. Se hizo popular en Venezuela en el año 1984 en el disco homónimo del máximo referente del canto tradicional del oriente del país: "Gualberto Ibarreto".

The song with which I participate is titled "That Certain smile", by Henrique Hidalgo. It became popular in Venezuela in 1984 in the homonymous album of the maximum reference of the traditional song of the east of the country: "Gualberto Ibarreto".

La música de ésta bella canción pertenece al género musical "Merengue Oriental", un rítmo muy jocoso del folclore venezolano.

The music of this beautiful song belongs to the musical genre "oriental merengue", a very humorous rhythm of Venezuelan folklore.
