Continuamos con las misiones de Star Fox 64, en este punto empezamos a tocar terreno hostil ya que se nos vienen misiones muy difíciles que van a exigir un nivel de concentración mayor, en este caso nos toca jugar una de las mejores misiones del juego.
Así es, hoy toca la misión del Sector Z la que para mí es la mejor misión del juego de Star Fox 64 a nivel de narrativo y a nivel de Marketing, el sector Z es uno de los niveles más reconocidos de la saga Star Fox, la z que vemos al fondo de color naranja es una característica muy especial para la gente que creció jugando este juego, a su vez el Sector Z aparece en múltiples videojuegos de la franquicia de Nintendo haciendo referencia a Star Fox.
La referencia más conocida es que el Sector Z aparece en el Super Smash Bros con la nave de Star Fox, también podemos ver la referencia del Sector Z en F-Zero de Nintendo 64 (videojuego donde pertenece Capitán Falcón) en uno de los personajes que podemos desbloquear en el juego, también es la portada principal de varios fans de la franquicia, como sea el Sector Z es el nivel más reconocido que podemos encontrar en Star Fox 64.
Por otra parte, también me parece que la mejor misión a nivel de trama, a nivel de drama y a nivel de suspenso del juego ¿Por qué? La respuesta es fácil, hasta ahora en la serie el equipo Star Fox ha estado atacando los planes de los malos, salvando vidas ajenas y frustrando los planes malévolos de Andross, en ninguna de esas situaciones el equipo ha estado con la soga al cuello, es decir, que no han sufrido daño alguno en esas misiones peligrosas.
Sin embargo, el en Sector Z se invierten los papeles, ya que el equipo Star Fox por primera vez se van a sentir amenazados por las fuerzas Andross atacando directamente al Great Fox, es decir, a la nave de Star Fox donde hacen sus operaciones, preparan los arwings, y prácticamente viven la mayor parte de la aventura, no hay que salvar a nadie, no hay que destruir un arma, sólo tenemos que defendernos a nosotros mismo.
La misión empieza con el Great Fox volando en medio del Sector Z una zona llena de escombros, seguramente sea basura espacial, Rob capta una señal de varias naves enemigas acercándose con la intensión de destruir la nave principal del equipo, Fox con toda la calma del mundo les dice a los muchachos que preparen sus Arwings, esto se va a poner feo, aparecen varias naves y posteriormente varios misiles.
Nuestro objetivo en esta misión será defender el Great Fox de cualquier amenaza, sobre de todo de los misiles que van a salir, en el Gameplay dije que serían tres misiles, pero no son seis misiles jaja, los misiles no tienen mucha resistencia que digamos, pero si tan sólo uno logra tocar el Great Fox automáticamente perdemos la misión, o mejor dicho la misión termina con el final alternativo que sería el malo y nos llevaría a otra zona del juego.
La misión del Sector Z no es tan difícil, de hecho, se podría decir que es fácil si sabes que hacer, pero si no sabes en donde se ubican los misiles o directamente no tienes alas pues la vas a pasar mal, solo hay que destruir los misiles, pero estos son bastante rápidos así que no hay que confiarse, dato curioso en esta misión también aparece Katt (la gata rosada) para dar una mano con los misiles y esta será su última aparición en el juego.
Por otro lado, una de las cosas extrañas que me pasó mientras grababa es que mi mando de PS3 que uso para jugar al Star Fox de la nada se bugeó jaja, la palanca para mover la nave por alguna razón no respondía bien a los giros y tenía que esforzarme más para lograr hacer las maniobras, quedó bien para esta misión ya que me agregó dificultad extra, pero tendré que solucionarlo para los siguientes vídeos.
