Hola, hola amigos de Hive.

Feliz y bendecido Lunes de agujas para todos ustedes.
Espero que hayan tenido un relajado y bonito fin de semana.
Mi fin de semana fue realmente muy tranquilo y estoy feliz porque pude compartir con mi familia y celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hijo mayor y también el cumpleaños de mi sobrino menor.

Además de compartir con mi familia, también estuve tejiendo mucho, ya que me llegó mi nuevo pedido de hilos acrílicos.
Todos los colores que me enviaron son hermosos y estaba ansiosa por empezar a tejer nuevos proyectos con ellos.

My weekend was really very peaceful and I am happy because I was able to share with my family and celebrate my oldest son's birthday and also my youngest nephew's birthday.

Besides sharing with my family, I was also knitting a lot as my new order of acrylic yarns arrived.
All the colors they sent me are beautiful and I was anxious to start knitting new projects with them.

El proyecto que les presento el día de hoy es el granny número 6 de mi colección. Se trata de un Granny Girasol. Para tejer este granny ubiqué un patrón en Pinterest y seguí las instrucciones al pie de la letra. Ya antes había tejido un granny girasol, pero esta vez quería que me quedara perfecto. Trabaje con mis nuevos hilos acrílicos de 2mm de grosor, en los colores: marrón, mostaza, amarillo y crema.

The project I present to you today is granny number 6 in my collection. It is a Sunflower Granny. To knit this granny I found a pattern on Pinterest and followed the instructions to the letter. I had knit a sunflower granny before, but this time I wanted it to look perfect. I worked with my new 2mm thick acrylic yarns, in the colors: brown, mustard, yellow and cream.

En la primera vuelta se tejen 16 puntos altos en un anillo mágico con el color marrón. Estos puntos son separados por una cadena.

En a segunda vuelta se tejen 16 grupos de 2 puntos altos cerrados juntos, en cada punto cadena de la vuelta anterior con el color mostaza. Cada uno de estos grupos deben estar separados por un punto cadena.

In the first round, knit 16 double crochet stitches in a magic ring with the color brown. These stitches are separated by a chain.
In the second row, knit 16 groups of 2 double crochet stitches closed together, in each chain stitch of the previous row with the mustard color. Each of these groups must be separated by a chain stitch.

En la vuelta número 3 comenzamos a hacer los pétalos del girasol en color amarillo. Para ello se tejen 16 grupos de 3 puntos altos, cerrados juntos, en cada espacio formado por el punto cadena de la vuelta anterior. Cada grupo debe ir separado por dos puntos cadenas.

In row 3 we begin to make the petals of the sunflower in yellow. To do this we knit 16 groups of 3 high stitches, closed together, in each space formed by the chain stitch of the previous row. Each group must be separated by two chain stitches.

En la vuelta número 4 se le comienza a dar forma de granny. Es decir, pasar de una figura redonda a una cuadrada. Para ello formamos las esquinas tejiendo dos grupos de 3 puntos altos separados por dos cadenas. Para los laterales se tejen 3 grupos de puntos altos en las cadenas de separación de la vuelta anterior. Con esta última vuelta ya tenemos listo este lindo granny de girasol, el cual es ideal para múltiples proyectos a crochet.

In the fourth round, you begin to give it a granny shape. That is, to go from a round figure to a square one. To do this we form the corners by knitting two groups of 3 high stitches separated by two chains. For the sides, we knit 3 groups of 3 high stitches in the separating chains of the previous row. With this last round we have this beautiful sunflower granny, which is ideal for multiple crochet projects.

Debo decir que quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado final. Tanto la textura como el grosor y el color de estos nuevos hilos me fascinan y me motivan a seguir tejiendo nuevos proyectos.

Para finalizar mi publicación de hoy, les comento que desde hace mucho que quiero incursionar en el mundo de 3speak, pero le tengo un poco de temor a la grabación de videos. Es por ello que hoy me animé a crear una pequeña presentación de mi proyecto en formato video para ir practicando y conociendo la plataforma.
