Good evening friends, at this time I want to share with you, a bit of a night practice, loosening a few fingers on this song, "Havona" from one of the most revolutionary jazz fusion groups "Weather Report" that had the teachers of teachers Mr Jaco Pastoirus.

This song has a special meaning for me, because it was the first song I decided to study after recovering from an injury to my left arm, basically I suffered an inflammation of the radial nerve from overuse, the discomfort was quite irritating and even depressive for a while .. and all for not warming up before studying, so that is one of the tips you can follow, always warm up, for 10 to 15 minutes, with and without the instrument.

This song has some harmonic changes that really provide time to anticipate, it is not that difficult, or you do not have to be very fast mentally to be able to assimilate the changes, but that does not mean that it is not a great song!

Harmonic changes are quite mysterious, although they generate a sound of stability, the sound as such is quite mysterious and that makes it really interesting ..

Many bassists improvise under different concepts, many under bep-bop, others a little more jazzy, there are those who do it quite aggressive, I wanted to put it in a slightly smoother vibe, with harmonic re-harmonization resources.

Buenas noches amigos, a esta hora quiero compartir con ustedes, un poco de una practica nocturna, soltando un pocos los dedos sobre esta canción, "Havona" de uno de los grupos más revolucionarios del jazz fusión "Weather Report" que contaba con el maestros de maestros Mr Jaco Pastoirus.

Esta canción tiene una significado especial para mí, porque fue la primera canción de decidí estudiar luego que recuperarme de una lesión en mi brazo izquierdo, básicamente sufrí una inflamación del nervio radial por sobre uso, las molestias fueron bastante irritantes y hasta depresivo dure un tiempo.. y todo por no calentar antes de estudiar, así que ese es uno de los consejos que puede seguir, calentar siempre, de 10 a 15min, con y sin el instrumento.

Esta canción, tiene unos genios armónicos que realmente brindan tiempo de anticiparse, no es tan difícil, o no hay que ser muy rápido lamentablemente para poder asimilar los cambios, pero eso no quiere decir que no sea un temazo!

Los cambios armónicos, son bastantes misteriosos, a pesar de que generan una sonoridad de estabilidad, el sonido como tal es bastante misterioso y eso lo hace realmente interesante..

Muchos bajista improvisan bajo conceptos diferentes, muchos bajo el bep-bop, otros un poco más jazzy, hay quienes lo hacen bastante agresivo, yo lo quise pone en una onda un poco más smooth, con recursos armónicos de re-armonizacion.
