Like R&B, Gospel has funk and blues influences which makes it extremely rich both rhythmically and harmonically.

Harmony within gospel is unconventional, the way many arrangers harmonize songs is not always subject to the harmony that we all know as functional, they think in a different way a little more general and based on the expectation of the reharmonization.

Al igual que el R&B, el Gospel tiene influencias de funk y blues lo cual hace que sea sumamente rico tanto rítmicamente como armónicamente.
