This topic seems very interesting to me, since when it is achieved it is one of the most satisfactory things for any musician, the fact of being able to connect the ideas or what sounds in our brain with our hands is something extremely gratifying.

The power of creation both in music and in any other art is undoubtedly linked to the inspiration and influence of another artist towards us as musicians, now, what should we do to learn to create something on our instrument? There are several concepts to handle as a result of this question and they are the following:

1 Hear:

If we want to create music, create phrases, groove or licks, it is necessary and essential that we listen to a lot of music, it is a process that can take time, but unconsciously it will create a sound within your brain which will make you particular due to the influence of the music or artist you are listening to.

For example: I am currently 24 years old, but since I was 17 I have listened to Hadrien Feraud a lot, and people have approached me and commented that there are certain things within my language that are similar to his and this is not more than influence by hearing.

2 Knowledge:

We cannot speak without having listened to someone or without understanding the meaning of the word that we have in mind, knowledge, harmonic, rhythmic, melodic and theoretical is of the utmost importance in order to create, shape ideas or compose.

3 Inspiration:

This point goes hand in hand with knowledge, I think they should be both equally, only that inspiration does not cancel the fact that you have to KNOW, however sometimes being so nailed with "Knowing" takes away inspiration, taste and it leads us to do everything under strict rules that make everything mechanical and tasteless.

4 Practice on what is created:

This is one of the activities of my daily practice routine, it is an activity that has greatly favored me and that has helped me to create, and it is extremely simple, it is about listening to a song and starting to create patterns, groove both in finger as in Slap, improvisation could also be put into practice, all on something that has already been created, that's why I call it "Create on what is created" this will begin to generate an incredible contribution capacity when recording or as you will begin to internalize new things to your language. In this video I show you a little what "creating on what is created" is.

The song is by a person I had the pleasure of meeting several years ago before he went to live in the USA, Mr. Mario Caceres, who is a singer, songwriter, recording artist and a great musician. Mario who has worked as a composer for many artists in the urban music industry, such as Wisin y Yandel, Cnco and Thalia, about 3 years ago I released this song called "The eighth wonder" and then one afternoon I started to create ideas about this song, so here I leave it.

Este tema me parece muy interesante, puesto que cuando se logra es una de las cosas más satisfactoria para cualquier músico, el hecho de poder conectar las ideas o lo que suena en nuestro cerebro con nuestras manos es algo sumamente gratificante.

El poder de la creación tanto en la música como en cualquier otro arte está ligado sin duda alguna a la inspiración y a la influencia de otro artista hacia nosotros como músicos, ahora bien, que debemos hacer para aprender a crear algo en nuestro instrumento? Existen varios conceptos a manejar a raíz de esta pregunta y son los siguientes:

1 Oir:

Si queremos crear musica, crear frases, groove o licks, es necesario y primordial que escuchemos mucha música, es un proceso que puede tomar tiempo, pero que inconscientemente va a ir creando un sonido dentro de tu cerebro lo cual te hará particular por la influencia de la musica o del artista que estás escuchando.

Por ejemplo: Actualmente yo tengo 24 años, pero desde los 17 años he escuchado mucho a Hadrien Feraud, y personas se me han acercado y me han comentado que hay ciertas cosas dentro de mi lenguaje que son similares a las de el y esto no es más que influencia por el oír.

2 Conocimiento:

No podemos hablar sin haber escuchado a alguien o sin entender el significado de la palabra que tenemos en mente, es de suma importancia el conocimiento, armónico, rítmico, melódico y teórico para poder crear, plasmar ideas o componer.

3 Inspiración:

Este punto va de la mano con el conocimiento, creo que deben ser ambas cosas por iguales, solo que la inspiración no anula el hecho de que hay que CONOCER, sin embargo a veces estar tan clavado con el "Saber" nos resta inspiración, gusto y nos lleva a hacer todo bajo estrictas normas que hacen que todo sea mecánico e insípido.

4 Practicar sobre lo creado:

Este es una de las actividades de mi rutina de practicas a diario, es una actividad que me ha favorecido mucho y que me ha ayudado a crear, y es sumamente simple, se trata de escuchar una canción y comenzar a crear patrones, groove tanto en finger como en Slap, improvisacion también se podría poner en práctica, todo sobre algo que ya esté creado, por eso lo llamo "Crear sobre lo creado" esto comenzará a generar una capacidad de aporte increíble a la hora de grabar o igual que comenzarás a internalizar nuevas cosas a tu lenguaje. En este video le muestro un poco lo que es "crear sobre lo creado"

La canción es de una persona que tuve el gusto de conocer hace varios años atrás antes que se fuera a vivir a USA, el Sr. Mario Caceres, quien es cantante, compositor, ing de grabación y un musicazo. Mario quien ha trabajado como compositor para muchos artistas de la industria de música urbana, como Wisin y Yandel, Cnco yThalia, hace como 3 años saco este tema llamado "La octava maravilla" y pues una tarde me puse a crear ideas sobre esta canción, así que aquí se la dejo.
