Hive Open Mic SEMANA 159 / Héroes de pacotilla / Cover @jetta.amaya (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me pone muy feliz volver a estar junto a todos ustedes en la gran tarima de Open Mic, esta vez compartiendo canciones sobre la temática “A Good Friend”. Me pareció muy dulce esta propuesta ya que en la industria cultural hay muchas canciones que hablan sobre el amor de pareja y las decepciones amorosas, pero muy poco se habla sobre la amistad y de lo que estos vínculos tan especiales representan en nuestras vidas.

Para formar parte de este bello compartir musical y respondiendo a la temática de la semana numero 159 me anime a interpretar una hermosa canción llamada “Héroes de pacotilla” del artista español Txus di Fellatio, publicada en su álbum homónimo en el año 2010. Este es un disco de música infantil que lanzo en solitario el líder de la famosa banda Mago de oz, con la colaboración de varios músicos de la banda tales como los dos guitarristas, Carlos y Frank; y la voz de Patricia Tapia quien hacia coros y algunas voces secundarias junto con la banda.

La conocí gracias a mi querida @aly.squid quien me la enseño un día que estábamos montando una animación infantil donde queríamos enaltecer algunos valores y la amistad era uno de ellos. Me gusto desde el primer momento, porque su letra es maravillosa. Nos invita a siempre sumar, aprender a vivir en compañía y valorar a nuestros amigos. Y es que efectivamente jugar solo no es divertido, así como vivir en soledad. La amistad es un valor humano maravilloso, lo aprendemos en la infancia y en la adultez, a pesar de que el trabajo y la vida familiar nos debilita un poco nuestra capacidad de hacer y mantener amistades, este valor se proyecta bien en nuestra capacidad de convivir, de ser buenos vecinos y buenos ciudadanos.

Cuando leí el tema de la semana pensé en la importancia de ser un buen amigo o amiga. Siempre queremos encontrar buenas amistades, pero debemos invertir más esfuerzo en ser buenos amigos, en brindar espacios de amor y de cuido. Creo que esta canción habla sobre eso, nos invita a tejer redes de apoyo, esto es algo que le da valor a nuestra vida sin importar que edad tengamos. He cantado esta canción muchas veces con niños pequeños y ha sido muy divertido, Aly y yo la disfrutamos mucho, tenía bastante tiempo sin cantarla pero me alegro mucho reencontrarme con esta hermosa canción.

A loving greeting to all my friends of Hive, it makes me very happy to be back with all of you on the big stage of Open Mic, this time sharing songs on the theme "A Good Friend". I found this proposal very sweet because in the cultural industry there are many songs that talk about love and love disappointments, but very little is said about friendship and what these special bonds represent in our lives.

To be part of this beautiful musical sharing and responding to the theme of the week number 159 I was encouraged to interpret a beautiful song called "Héroes de pacotilla" by the Spanish artist Txus di Fellatio, published in his album of the same name in 2010. This is a children's music album released solo by the leader of the famous band Mago de oz, with the collaboration of several musicians of the band such as the two guitarists, Carlos and Frank; and the voice of Patricia Tapia who did backing vocals and some secondary voices along with the band.

I met her thanks to my dear @aly.squid who showed her to me one day when we were putting together a children's show where we wanted to promote some values and friendship was one of them. I liked it from the first moment, because its lyrics are wonderful. It invites us to always add, to learn to live in company and to value our friends. And indeed, playing alone is not fun, as well as living alone. Friendship is a wonderful human value, we learn it in childhood and in adulthood, although work and family life weakens our ability to make and maintain friendships, this value is well projected in our ability to live together, to be good neighbors and good citizens.

When I read this week's theme I thought about the importance of being a good friend. We always want to find good friends, but we should invest more effort in being good friends, in providing spaces of love and care. I think this song talks about that, it invites us to weave support networks, this is something that gives value to our life no matter how old we are. I have sung this song many times with young children and it has been a lot of fun, Aly and I enjoyed it a lot, I had a long time without singing it but I am very happy to meet again with this beautiful song.
